Janet and Callie

Callie seems to be doing okay, but we figured out that my mom (Janet) was accidentally giving her 1U instead of 2U. The vet told her 1 unit was the lowest line but I looked closer when she got the syringe ready last night and pointed out that the lowest line is extra long and isn't 1U. Not sure how many times this happened (I do the insulin most of the time and I knew where 2U was on the syringe) but that could explain Callie's ups and downs from the last few days.

Wow- glad you figured that out! Anyway, she seems to be leveling out - don't change the dose until you're sure she is over the bounce.

And anyway, maybe giving her a consistant 2U IS changing the dose!
