Well, it looks like maybe the lysine has staved off an all out illness for Attie. Although he needs to learn that 4am is not breffis time! First it is a gentle paw in the face, then claws gently raked across my arm, and if the doesn't work he starts to nibble....and there is no deterring him.
Gary snuggled up on the bed last night right next to me. It has taken him a long time and I think he is still growing into the 'housecat' aspect of his life everyday. He may never be the big bold kitty that greets guests at the door like Attie does, but I think in time he won't hide from everybody like MudCat. New Year's Eve I had company and he did sit in the kitchen doorway watching and listening.
I still have the 'hitch in the hip' this morning, but not as bad as it has been! In fact, I haven't taken any pain meds since last night. There is noticable pain and some stiffness, but not anything like before.
Dog Walking lesson today with an owner and their dog! So we'll see how it goes....?
