I'd rather you set an alarm and get another test at +5. This is still a little early in the cycle, and she can drop again, once the food influence wears off.

Just woke up. The +10 is more like 10 1/2. Thinking she's getting ready for a decrease soon, maybe after today's cycle?

I think she's on the decline and getting back to being regulated. She was on 1/2 U before the mouth
stuff. Maybe she'll go OTJ. :smile:

Keep in mind that diabetics that are past their first year since diagnosis have stricter criteria for a dose reduction. They either need to drop below 40 or they have to fall in the 40 - 50 range three times.

This is another smooth PM. Makes sense what you said. Thank you. Just these AM's are brutal.
Normally I wouldn't think twice about her dropping into the 50's, as
she does that regulated. It's giving her 1U, after her being on 1/2 U for 4yrs. I get nervous at night.

I know I should be thankful and I am. But I gotta whine. Last night she was 84 and dropped to 51. Why can't the day time
be her low cycle?? :roll:

Shelly, I know where Los Gatos is. It has been a long while, but I use to visit friends in Los Gatos in the 80s.

Usually Boot's nadir is around +3 +4. Because it drops then and I feed,,so I stop it or it would be around +5 otherwise
