I didn't realize today's cycle was the 6th one, so I didn't increase tonight. ohmygod_smile But the vet did manage to squeeze Tip in to check her out during Christmas's visit(I called early this morning) and she does suspect Tip has a UTI, there wasn't much urine to get a test out of it, so she went ahead and prescribed her some antibiotics. I started those tonight.

I was wondering, should I go ahead and increase tomorrow morning? Or leave it until we see if the antibiotics have any effect?

I would increase her by .5u again. You might see her coming down fast once the A/B kicks in. However, not all of what vets classify as "UTIs" actually have a bacterial component. Many times it is just inflammation and it will just go away on its own. Without a cystocentesis, you won't know.

Hope she feels better.

Alright, I'll increase at her AMPS. Yeah, I think she just prescribed the antibiotic as a just-in-case measure. I'm hoping her numbers come down and she's feeling better really soon.

I'm also hoping the dose-change in Christmas's medicine will help her, since she wasn't getting better as much as the vet wanted.

I hope they both get better soon. Tip might come back down fast so as usual....keep up your great testing.
