Yesterday seems to have been day 2 of the return of the Rainbow Kitty, and the FDMB Olympic Diving Champion. :roll: I did feed last nights cycle, and still he dove... I guess Mannie liked the greens so much that he was in a hurry to get back there. It was nice this morning for him to post a 199. I would like to think that he surfed the blues, and maybe a little of the greens last night while his bean visited never never land. So far Mannie is tolerating the clavamox well: no vomiting, nausea (that I can tell), or diarrhea. YAY, and cat_pet_icon

Mannie is one happy dude when he can go outside. We had a semi-decent day yesterday, so he was able to visit his stomping grounds a couple of times. It is fun to watch him make his rounds, reclaim his turf, take a roll or two in the grass. He enjoyed it so much that we had thwarted escape attempt back outside last night - sorry big fella: no outside after dark. bean 1, Mannie 0. Mannie was very excited about breffis: the happy dance was escalated, and once again he was so excited that he almost fell off the table, :lol: :lol: and his charter membership in the clean plate club remains intact. Auto feeder went to the civvie again, and the bean had to reserve. :roll: civvie1, Mannie 0, bean -1. And the nanners? They are his, and so he keeps reminding everyone. Mannie 258, civvies 2

Glad Mannie is doing so well. I get a kick out of reading how he's doing. Maverick just doesn't get excited for food so its cool when I read about a kitty doing a dance for food lol. I just get this feed me look. Mannie's numbers are awesome. Keep it up!!!!

:lol: binks was horrified by that picture...wanted to call out the KTSS until i explained to him about that cat. It's name is Maru...and there are the craziest pics and videos of it all over the web. they live in japan, and Maru is even in Wikipedia now.

Beth - I can imagine... part of me loves the winters, the snow - the other half is grateful we get so little of it. outdoors is always available to us.

Sienne - I am grateful... so much better than all those pinks and reds.

Ella - so far he's doing well with the meds. relief there too! so far, so good!

Celi - poor binks - I'm glad you explained it to him... I've seen videos of Maru - fun stuff!

Karrie - the boy does LOVE his fuds. some more than others, but never a turn down. :roll:

barb - it feels great to be able to give one!

What a wonderful day for Mannie! I love the food dance- I'll bet it's adorable! Looks like Mannie's doing really well with his meds too... awesome.

As for going outside, my boys miss it too. We're still covered in snow here and if they went outside, they wouldn't like it, but they stare out the window with longing sometimes. We have the opposite problem here- Chaos eats civie's food. An auto-feeder would be his best buddy! :lol:

Love the nanner score between Mannie and civies!

So nice to have beautiful Mannie numbers back and I'm glad he's holding his own with the clavamox!!! Mannie...what a happy, great kitty!!!

Hi Violet - the food dance is fun - sometimes he gets so wound up. darn funny when he does. :-D :-D And the nanner score is more fact than fiction. He can be in any part of the house, and can hear the civvies messing with those darn things. he's on a run then - gotta protect his stash. He will show up and chase them away, rearrange the circle, slobber all over them again, sit on them, and reestablish ownership.

HI Iorwen - Thanks, and it is. Love it, even if it isn't green. so very much better!

Hi Marjorie - thanks - it is isn't it. and he is surviving the clavamox - though I hear they can have issues with it up to a week after. so far, so good. and yes - survived shopping: blech!, but the pantry is restocked. :-D I hope you get out for your walk - they are just the best things: so good for your well being.

What a great day - I made it to the shore: took a long, well sorta long @ 6 miles, hike through the local woods: long I guess in the sense that I took the time to explore, the time to get dirty, the time to rake in what was there to see. The rains were gracious enough to stay at bay until I got home. And now it pours. Must be my lucky day. :-D :-D Have a great afternoon everyone!

Michelle, here in the cruel Midwest, your posts about the Pacific Northwest are a breath of fresh air. We're supposed to get 5 inches of snow between midnight and 5 a.m., and I have to work tomorrow morning. :sad: My kitties will not be rolling in the grass anytime soon.

Tell Mannie to keep up the good work.

Funny though - he is onto my Clavamox routine, and high tailed it out of the kitchen when he saw me coming with "that thing". Ah ha! Foiled there mr manster - the bean saw it coming, cut you off at the pass, administered the meds, nary a drop wasted. Bean 1, Mannie 0.

And the vet called - seems what ever bacteria Mannie is dealing with responds to clavamox, so looks like we will be continuing with that. For the life of me I can't remember the name of which one ... e-something-er-other.... :? I will get a copy of the report/lab when I pick up the refill for the clavamox.

Hi Christie - so far we are ok with the clavamox. I'm glad it doesn't seem to be affecting anything adversely. YAY!

Hi Lacie - oh my on the more snow.... i don't know how you guys do it - i suppose that you are sued to it? does one ever get used to it? A friend of mine is from Iowa, and I hear stories all the time of the "midwest winters..." I feel for all the kitties that can't get out for grass rolls.... I will never ever complain about our winters ever again. You guys have it so much worse... I hope you make it to work OK tomorrow.

Looks like Mannie had a pretty good day! And you know you're giving the correct AB now that the vet called. That's gotta be a relief! Now, if it were me, I wouldn't be able to help myself. I would mess with Mannie's nanners just to get him going and watch him do his nanner protection routine!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Me and this bottle of sparkling pinot noir are currently inventing new weight watchers points rules. :) (alternative rule 1: if it is your time of month, you may eat an entire frozen pizza as long as you put veggies on it, and it will count as zero points! guess what we had for dinner? LOL)

Nice Mannie!!!! Show the bean how its done. So glad you are getting the clavamox in and its not affecting him negatively. How long is he on it for. Nike is on it for 21 days (hers is e-coli).

Michelle, I'm glad you got in a nice hike today. I spent my day with the car and then in the supermarket (double ugh). Snowshoeing tomorrow, however!

So glad to hear that the clavamox is the right a/b for Mannie's bug!

This is incredibly awesome for Mannie and his mamabean!!! YAY!!! Beautiful curve!! Maybe you won't have to be up so late cuz he'll just surf around 75 or so!! I'm about to fizzle out myself, here, and may be back in to a test/nap/test mode. Gracie is moving slow tonight.
