I shot 25 min early today to work towards getting back on schedule.

I dont have any freeze dried treats right now, and dont have the money to buy them at the moment. So I have been giving him 1 dry treat after testing. I am worried if I dont give him a treat each time.... he may become less compliant... he always lays still during testing as he knows he gets a treat after. How bad could the 1 dry treat impact his numbers?

Its been a while since we've done this... so I have still been a bit nervous (and absent minded). Ive definitely needed a few reminders so far. I appreciate all the visits, reminders, responses/replies, and advice.

Also since I shot early today.... am I going to need to test alot more even though his BG is so high?

Shot 1u @ 8:15am
+2.5 = 222
+6 = 276

They say you can be 15 min early per cycle or 30 mins early on 1 cycle and it should not affect the insulin action.

If you see chicken go on sale, you can buy some and boil it and cube it, and give a 1/2 inch cube as a treat.
Just a thought.
