1/27 Wesson AMPS=109 +2=81+3=95 +4=90 +6=83 +8=86 +10=81

Yeah, this is now the 0.25U at work. We want long stretches of healing green.

So, normally Wesson comes up around shot time, but he has stayed so flat today. If he is still in the 80/90 range I should still shoot, right? I may need some encouragement. Lowest I have shot is 101 and he dove right down to the 50's.

Lantus is very good at keeping low numbers flat. As long as you can monitor, shoot! :)
For now this seems to be a good dose for him. If he wants to earn another reduction, we will know soon.

ETA: The other night he was clearing a bounce and had extra downward momentum. Not saying he won't go to the 50s (or lower) tonight but he seems pretty nice and flat today. Shoot and feed at +1 and +2. Don't fill him up at PMPS.

So, we are approaching +1 and he's at 74. Feeding him in a few minutes.

Well, he really wanted that reduction. Went to grab a quick shower and came out to a low glucose alarm.

Well, we didn't have to wait long. Fed him at +2, jumped in the shower at +2.5 and came out to the low glucose alarm. He dropped to 48. Gave HC and some Karo. He's back up to 70 now.

For future reference, we reach for honey/karo/syrup only if HC is not enough to bring them over 50. The idea is to get them to be in green for as long as possible. Sometimes too much carbs can shoot them to the moon! :-)

Congrats on the reduction. Good luck measuring 0.10U! :p

I don't know if you've noticed, but a lot of syringes have their markings way off and that affects the accuracy of the dose. When you first use a syringe, push the plunger all the way in to see if it lines up with the printed zero line. Especially with smaller doses every little bit matters.

In keeping with Wesson's MO of holding reductions he does not earn, you could possibly go down to the drop dose which is the easiest to measure.

To measure a drop dose, push the plunger of the empty syringe in fully, keep it pressed and insert in the pen. Let go of the pressure on the plunger and it will draw a drop. When you insert the needle into Wesson, push the plunger and count to ten if he will let you.

Yeah, I got scared because I didn't know how long he was low and he is shooting up :(

Will try my best with the next dose.
