Bounce!
Anyway he avoided the kids yesterday and stayed and supervised from a distance upstairs so he didnt get too stressed. Middle of the night last night he played a little bit too with his green toy which is a good sign! Hope he will come down from his bounce soon.

I've tended to want to hold these for 10 cycles, but that is still a lot of yellow there.

How old was the prior pen/vial?

Its brand new.. i changed it on the 24th...but we know its ok because Bailey is behaving fairly normally.. although he has had a dose increase too you can see the curve.

I mean how old was the one before this one?

Could there be any difference in potency?

However they were both getting fairly reasonable numbers on the old one.

December 4th.

I dont know.. i mean they are both in the same pack and the expiry is like 2015 or something on them. I keep them low in the fridge so they shouldnt freeze.. and there is no flakies cloudiness or anything.. but I know what you mean. Suppose I could buy a new pack and see if it makes a difference.

That's what I suspected with the way Tiggy is burning through them.

So that shouldn't be an issue at all.

Just keep increasing every 10 cycles until the green returns.

BTW doesn't look like IAA to me at this point, perhaps just normal temporary resistance with all the yellow.

Yeah. I have seen this before too. Both cats BG started acting odd. I threw out my old vial and got a new one. Made no difference at all. Glad I live in Canada $99 for 5 pens I can afford this!

It could be a furball..? his voice is going funny and that happens just before a big one..

So 0.5 every 10 cycles? Thanks for your support on this btw.

I like 10 just because it gives more chance for the flat yellow to break if it's going to before the next increase.

You are lucky on the Lantus/Levemir. But guess you make up for some of that on the test strips.

And I complain about $50/month on Levemir. Chip is still burning through half that much just himself.

What I sometimes see from hairballs is lower numbers from the barfing, if he doesn't get to re-eat again soon enough.

But anything that bugs them may raise the numbers.
