Good Morning, Everyone,

From all accounts, the Full Wolf Moon Party was a huge success (see yesterday's condo for a "report"). After he got "home", Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He ate all of his nighttime food and this morning had a good first sitting of breakfast. I am very happy that his appetite is better today. Must have been the party food. :-D The only glitch this morning was that I nicked what must have been a big capillary. I'm a little worried that insulin could have gotten into his bloodstream. Does anyone know what effect that would have? (I have nicked capillaries before, but there was much more blood this time.)

It's another cold day, but not as bitter cold as the past week. Edward is baking bread. We may go snowshoeing this afternoon. We still don't have any new snow and are hoping for some (but we may actually get rain on Tuesday!).

Morning Ella, nice report on Rusty and looks like he's headed to the Green Lagoon. I have no idea on the capillary and hope others weigh in on it. I bet it is nothing to worry about though. Glad Rusty's appy is better as that's always a concern for all of the Beans.
Mags told me she had a ball at the Full Wolf Moon party and thanks Rusty for hosting it at his place. She really enjoyed the ice skating and only fell down once and thinks no one saw her slip. Mags is already in the Green Lagoon waiting on the LagoonMeister.

I don't know about the shot.. I'd guess if some went in intravenously it might act sooner/stronger?

Simon's waiting on Rusty, with that AMPS I don't think he'll be waiting long. ;-)

Morning guys nice start for Rusty. Not sure about the nicked capillary I have never gotten blood from a shot. I am sure one of the experts can tell you. I will be interested to hear thoughts on that. Yum on the fresh baked bread, hope you get to go out and snowshoe! Have a great Sunday!

We're going to go out for a short walk after +7.5 because we want to keep an eye on Rusty. I think the 41 is owing to the "blood shot" this morning. He's eating well today, so that's not a concern, and he is enjoying his toys, a combing, his perch in the sunshine in the living room, his cube, and even the vacuum cleaner (!) He sat next to it while I was vacuuming; maybe he'd like to be vacuumed?.

I would assume that you'd get a marked response to the insulin if it hit the bloodstream. To be honest, though, Rusty had a good AMPS so it's hard to know if the shot is doing any more than it ordinarily would.

Thanks, Sienne. We'll see how the whole cycle behaves. The 41 was a steeper drop than "usual".

Wow on today - quite the set of numbers and greens. I have no idea on the effect of insulin getting into the blood stream. Perhaps it would be shown in a marked and noticeable response. I dunno...

wow on the vacuum! Mannie doesn't mind it all either. I can vacuum next to him and he doesn't flinch. I had a cat once that loved to be vacuumed - too funny!

I hope you were able to get out for a short walk. Sounds like Rusty is having a very nice day - even some sunshine. :cool:

I don't know about the nicked capillary, but it looks like Rusty had a nice day anyway. I hope you got to go out for a little while.
