Maverick and Chatty Kathy were both depressed this morning. They were having a long drawn out sad talk. Slept in the spare bedroom and half hour felt like 8 hours. Chatty Kathy went visiting other cats. Maverick was content after I moved. He was washing up in his cube this morning. His bean is just too tired to play with him this morning. I'm a zombie. I have to get blood work done to find out why I'm so low on energy. Coffee and pepsi max doesn't dent it. I will be napping this morning.

Happy Thursday everyone.

Re: 1/27 Maverick AMPS 103

Beautiful AMPS for Maverick! Well, I wonder what all that talk was about with Chatty Kathy? Good luck with your bloodwork results and hope it gives some results as to what may be causing the low energy.

Re: 1/27 Maverick AMPS 103

Nice AMPS for Maverick. Hey Maverick, with those amps you don't need to be depressed!

Karrie, I hope that you will begin to feel less tired and that the blood tests will help find the problem. Maybe it's just winter doldrums? I always find that getting out and walking helps when I feel tired. Gets that blood moving!!

Good Fursday to you and the furries,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 1/27 Maverick AMPS 103

Karrie, I'm so sorry you are not feeling that well lately. No energy and fatigue can make you incredibly depressed so I hope you find out some answers soon. Nice AMPS for Maverick today.

Re: 1/27 Maverick AMPS 103

I cannot stop giggling- I keep imagining what a very sad conversation between Maverick and Chatty Kathy would sound like! Poor sad kitties, wonder what they were talking about?

Great AMPS today, Maverick!

I hope the bloodwork gives you some answers. I know what it's like to try everything and not find out what the problem is. Patience is a virtue- it took 5 doctors two years to figure me out, but they finally did it. Hopeful healing vines to you. :YMHUG:

I hope you feel better soon, less fatigue. Hopefully the blood work will give you an answer I too find that walking does so much to boost my energy level. I just feel better.

Re: 1/27 Maverick AMPS 103

few things worse than lack of energy and not knowing the reason for it.
hope you find out soon!

I feel like an idiot here...i thought Maverick WAS Chatty Kathy??

nice amps, btw...

Re: 1/27 Maverick AMPS 103

Hi Karrie!
I hope you are feeling some more energy soon. Maybe its unrelated, but I really do think caring for our cats the way we do can take an awful lot out of us. Im still recovering from major fatigue! Then you add winter, and...its just tough. Hopefully bloodwork will reveal the need for some vitamins and sleep....easy solution (for the most part).

I think the kitties were feeling sad that you are so tired and discussing it....plotting to cheer you up!

ever have mono????

Re: 1/27 Maverick AMPS 103

Well Maverick started out as Chatty Kathy when I was snarky about him in the morning. Then I realized he must be talking with an imaginary friend that came to visit and I named her Chatty Kathy. He talks. And not at us. He is just lying down talking. Not on the bed, but in lying in doorway or on the baby stairs. Talk talk talk. Conversation meows. This morning they had this long drawn out kind of a sad tone to them.

I slept through all his testing markers today - +3-+6 and woke up just as tired. I have it very easy with Maverick. My dog does have a terminal disease but she is doing well for the most part (heart failure). I do have an anxiety disorder but have received a ton of help for it in the past year and a half. My energy did have to do with Maverick initially. When he was so sick in 2008 with his feeding tube, I developed all out insomnia that lasted a year. I realized then I didn't have coping skills to deal with high stress levels (normally I just avoided stress) I felt like a truck had run me over every day. Even when I was finally sleeping again (with months of a doctors help)... my energy level didn't return. I have chronic black circles around my eyes. Some days I don't have the energy to even unload the dishwasher. I thought once my anxiety was better the energy would return but it hasn't. So I'll get blood work done again and wish it will give some answers. Even went off birth control as I thought the wonky hormones (depo provera) would be a cause of the fatigue.

25 minutes until I find out what Maverick's BG is. Saving his ears. They are really inflamed for some reason. He wants to play in his cube so I expect he's higher rather than lower

well I was wrong. Wasn't expecting a 73 ohmygod_smile He surfs really well - even when he gets these 60 and 70 preshot numbers he stays above a low all on his own. I wonder if this is because he is a freefeeder vs. managed feeder like most kitties here.

Dunno what the secret is, but Maverick is doing great! Hope you get your energy back soon! I had a bout of a nasty virus a couple years ago and ended up with chronic fatigue for over a year. I don't envy you at all.

I love that Mav has an imaginary friend he chats with! Too cute!!

what a nice pmps!   Maverick - you rock!

Celi - another awesome photo. :-D

Good luck with the fatigue problem - i hope you can find an answer, and that your energy level returns soon.

I hope you start feeling better. Staying up to test Maverick probably isn't helping. I tend to feel like I'm chronically sleep deprived. Another great cycle for Maverick.

Fantastic day for Maverick esp his PMPS. Love his imaginary friend, Chatty Kathy...how creative of you! So sorry you are feeling so fatigued....maybe you're anemic?? Sure hope you feel better soon...sending healing vines to your household!

Karrie, I never sleep more than 6 hrs..I dunno, I just cant do it & take a nap??? Never almost--This winter is making me exhausted--
Didnt go out today or yesterday & was in Sunday & Monday due to ice freezing temps!--I havent slept well since Moonie was Dx'd 3 yrs ago, but it is well worth it to see her feel good....~~No sleeping advice, but I do fall asleep at night when DH & I watch TV for an hour or 2--Then SPRING UP flip_cat To test Moonie, & make DH lunch before I go to bed~~~Then I read!!
That's why I'm up now--Moonie was 60's--Ever try relaxation tapes?? I have some but havent used yet    Guess I'm too tired
Hope you can find the cause of yours-Feel good girl & treat yourself well--You deserve it!--Hugs from us!
