Hi Julie- I am wondering if I need to get numbers after her nadir to see if she is dropping lower for some reason. Her nadir is plus five. Just wondering if I should go to bed earlier to be able to get up to spot check. Her shot times are 5:45.

nadirs aren't a fixed point - in almost every cat they move around. sometimes every cycle, sometimes randomly. most of the time punkin's nadir was at +5.5, but sometimes it was at +8 and if he was clearing a bounce, it came when the bounce cleared.

getting tests at different times can really help to fill out the picture of what is going on. it's a great idea!

Hi Julie, thanks for the reply. I didn't realize the nadirs could change within cycles. I am going to get a +3 before I go to bed then get up for a plus five and then seven or eight. Hopefully she won't be purring at my head again making it hard for me to get up to test her!
