PINK and Mr Liver ruled the roost here yesterday. Blech! Not too much to say about yesterday - it was pink, it was bouncy, and one hopes that the day before will reappear soon! Right Mannie? more blues and greens? it was nice though to have some yellow creep back into the evening cycle. and Go Mannie! Looks like maybe he is - what a nice amps this mourning: Blue! Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. I only had Nicholas a half day yesterday. It was kinda cute... I'd tell Mannie he would have to wait until the afternoon for Nicholas. Every time he heard his name Mannie would go and look for him. Such a sigh of disappointment when he couldn't find him and I had to repeat: "later" - it was as if he finally understood. ;-) There was major excitement when we walked in the door though, followed by another sigh when he saw Nicholas had fallen asleep in his car seat. Poor Mannie! He was good though - he waited until be he woke up before checking him out: a quick once over to make all parts were as they should be, proper smells were present, proper vocalizations were heard. Then he took off for nap time, again. :roll: :lol: We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Normalcy in MannieLand, even though we still do not have a kitty choir, nor whack-a-thon. It's OK though - things evolve.

have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty today! YAY!!!! Off for four days after today. We are supposed to have sun today - I so hope we can get to a river... PAWS CROSSED! I know I will not be able to visit anyone today while DGS is here - so so sorry. I hope to be able to visit later this evening. I am thinking of you all: think blue, think green kitties!!

OK Everybody! POOL PARTY at Gracie's!!!! That is a for sure. Gracie is very busy getting everything all ready. It is going to be sunny and 75 there. Gracie said that we can have a pool party!!!! Maybe a little desert hiking and then relax by the pool with some Niptecates and quail dip!! YUM!!! I am getting the bus ready - and then on my way! I will picks you guys up. See you soon! ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: here are a couple of pics from yesterday's outing with nicholas to the Juanita Beach park. it is a small lake park with a nice beach. We had little time yesterday, since I only had him a half a day, and this park fit the bill. He got to see alot of things, have good time within the time restraints that we had. YAY!

Morning Michelle I'll have some of that White Peppermint Mocha. Every time I go to order one I always get the straight hard stuff....one of these days. That's a nice blue start there for Mannie boy! I hope he keeps a nice surf so you and Nicholas can go on a river fun day. Adorable pic of DGS and pretty pics of the beach park. You have so many cool places nearby! Cute on Mannie missing Nicholas. Mannie, don't forget to look for some treats from DGS.

Sooooo sweet and heartwarming to hear about Mannie and Nicholas being the best of friends. How does Elsa handle being around Nicholas?

Hi guys,
I'm so late today because Edward and I were hung up on a research project of sorts all day. Mannie's day started out promisingly enough, but that PMPS number was waiting in the wings to make an appearance! Come down, Mannie, please!

Mannie and Nicholas are so good together. Mannie is super smart to respond so well to every situation that Nicholas presents. What a pair! I hope that you had a lovely hike today and that the weather cooperated. Our weather is absolute misery!

Enjoy the evening. Rusty is on his way to the pool party, a little late, but it's earlier out there on the Coast!

Thanks to everyone for visiting Mannie while I cared for DGS. Nicholas and I went to the Snoqualmie River - he has a spot there that he really likes, so off we went. It was a sunny day - YAY!, but also a cold one, morning temps at 30. Brrrr! It did warm up some while we were there. Nicholas had a great time - went river exploring, yet again. He just loves to play in the water (rivers are best), as frigid as it is. Good thing the sun was shining! What fun - great times!

Thanks Ann, Devon, Tracy, Melissa, Linda, Ann, and Amy for checking in on Mannie. It is appreciated. Sorry for the abbreviated update on Mannie - so so busy! I had such hopes for today - he cleared that bounce yesterday well, off to a great start this morning, only to end up pink again tonight. Guess Mr Liver wasn't done showing off. :shock: :roll:
Amy - yes it is! They get along so well - it's very cool.
Ann - Mannie did look for treats - he so wanted one of those goldfish crackers... That I had to run intercept on... and Yes, we did make it to the river!
Linda, Melissa - that they do. Mannie was so afraid of him at the stat, now they are best buddies.
Tracy - Elsa really is oblivious. She checks him out, but does her own thing. Never been afraid of him, just not close either.

Ann - what did they do on the pink floor? Whatever it was it must have been good - he went back for a return visit! And YEP! River adventure!!

Hi Ella - just saw your post. yep, it was a good start, oh well on the pmps. I hope he can bring it down tonight. Paws crossed. Mannie and Nicholas really do well together - I remember how they started - Mannie was so "OMG" at first, now look at them. The weather did cooperate - we had sun though it was a bit cold: 30 when we started, maybe 40 when we went home.

Rusty! DUDE it's ok man, no worries! I saved you a whole bag of cookies. Tess makes the4 bestest cookies! We had to put a guard on duty so Tobey wouldn't eat them all! ~~ Mannie

Michelle, sorry Mannie is in bounce mode. It sounds like you and Nicholas had a great time, and he doesn't even mind the cold! That is so cool, as long as he is with you and enjoying the adventure, what's a little chill in the air! We had 78 degrees, very warm and more to come for the weekend. Hi Ann - Thx on Mannie's bounce mode. a bummer, but I hope he clears it soon, and slowly... Nicholas and I did have a great time. He loves this river, which is why I go back here alot. This time he went wading, got all fours wet, and he didn't mind. I have to hold onto his rear, just to keep him from going in too far. We always end up having to change clothes too. With it being so cold , well gotta keep him dry and warm too. oh wow on your 78 - we have a few months to go before we can say that. :lol:
