Yesterday's Condo

It's a very subdued morning around here. Gabby is snoozing in her nest in the closet. Why she wants to lie on a Lululemon bag is beyond me. She claimed an old laundry basket a few months ago and I put a pillow in it. Now, it's yesterday's news. We've checked all 5 Ps off of the list.

If you put a pillow in the basket, the cat gets the idea that you want her to lie there and is therefore no longer interested! :lol:

Perhaps its your scent she craves. I've stopped trying to understand them, its far beyond me :lol:

It's been my experience that they never sleep in the special beds that we provide for them. They prefer to find the perfect spot themselves. Stu had what looked like a really uncomfortable basket (a fruit basket made of hard, pointy sticks that was sent to us and that he immediately claimed). The only thing he wanted in it as "padding" was a piece of paper! It was way too small for him, but he crammed himself into it and would stay there for hours. Rusty checked it out, but it doesn't interest him. He found Stu's old cushion (which we provided for Stu and which he always ignored) and has appropriated it!. ECID.

My babies sleep in most of the places I wan... wait. I was going to say they sleep where I put the purr pads, but that's not true. i put the purr pads where they sleep. They both used the one small/medium sized doggy bed I got them (big enough for both to snuggle up together) and Danger has decided he likes his heated cat bed.

Liking this blue stuff. Let's not go back up, k Gabby?

The kitties had finished their first course of dinner (Gabby having polished off Gizmo's bowl when he decided to wander away) and I'm in the kitchen prepping my dinner. I hear the sounds of cats running down the hall. I assumed it was Gizmo who sounds something akin to a rhinoceros when he runs. I happened to glance over to the living room and much to my surprise, it was Gabby who had been running down the hall and had stationed herself on the windowsill. Gizmo, no doubt was in close pursuit, but it was Gabby who was leading the merry chase. It seems like she's feeling pretty good!

I love hearing about Gabby being the spunky one. They sound so adorable. Wish you guys had kitty cams.

Glad to hear that Gabby is running around having fun! Hoping Willie's activity levels will increase soon, but giving him a pass with the meds and the healing he's got going on!

Good that Gabby got so see some blues today... hoping her numbers are all blue/green soon!

Gabby, way to outdo Gizmo! Isn't it so great to see our sugarcats feel good enough to act silly? Tessie never does anything naughty. T.J. is constantly in trouble. So, the other night while we were watching tv, we heard one of the kitchen cupboard doors bang shut. We immediately thought of T.J., but there he was on his tower fast asleep. It was Tessie Lou, snooping in my pots and pans! Made my day...
 
Very nice move downwards for Gabby and she's got some hilarious videos on her condo today!!! It's so great to hear she is the rompin' stompin' one instead of just that kitten!
