Looks like the new juice kicked in for a slow all night classic Zener slide and into the green lagoon this morning. We are having a rare winter rain and it's been falling for over 12 hours. We only get a couple of nights a year with rain, and it's such great sleeping! I-) All very quiet here this morning (other than Zener splashing into the lagoon), with no yard patrol because of steady rain. :mrgreen:

Liz has been very compliant with the doc's orders and is staying in bed, very against her nature. She said this morning "I'm so stiff from laying around." The nice side of it is both kitties were curled up in bed with the beans this morning. :-D She is listening to audio books and that helps. And I read condos to her, so she can keep up a little. I was making her morning snack of yogurt, walnuts and blueberries and when I brought it to her, I hadn't thawed the frozen blueberries. :oops: I'm not the best cook, but I clean well. :?

@Deborah & Shasta - thanks for stopping in! Liz asked me to read Shasta's condo to her last night, karmic isn't it? :razz:

@Helen - you are so right to look at the cat and not just the numbers! His tummy has been feeling much better lately and that makes for happy appy and happy beans. :-D

@Marje - seeing better numbers already! Woo hoo! Liz has me reading condos to her, so by tonight I expect she will be dictating what she wants me to write in condos. :twisted:

@Tara & Buster - direction reversed, as requested! :razz:

@Wendy & Neko - NDW in the dust as instructed. And yes, this virus is a nasty one. I had it last year around Christmas and it is miserable. The treatment is awful - no reading, computer, iPad, TV and use of the eyes as little as possible. :evil:

Thanks to everyone for coming by and wishing better numbers to the mighty Z and feel better vines to Liz. It's a good day to stay in and lay low - high 30s and rain.We've gotten almost an inch, and that's a lot for our arid climate. It's probably snowing up on the mountain, snow level is 8000 feet and we are at 7000 feet. A colder system is set to move in tomorrow night and then we will get snow. Forecast for only a few inches though.

Zener is looking good today. Sending prayers for a quick recovery for Liz, and for you Anne as you take care of everyone.

Hi Anne, what a nice slide for Zener and in the Green Lagoon. :mrgreen: So sorry Liz is sick. I missed the ending of your condo yesterday and went back to read. I heard on the news there is a bad stomach virus just hitting everyone lately. Tell Detective Poo that Mags sends flowers and good wishes and to follow Anne's orders and stay in bed with the kitters. :-D We also have had nonstop showers since early yesterday. A tree just fell on someone's car in our parking lot, not mine, thank goodness. It is a good day to stay home.

Grams, I'm sorry you have the YUCK! Schniggles sends snuggles and snuffles - she'd LOVE to curl up on the bed with you too. She's funny about 'covers' tho' - she loves to bury her head then body underneath them and roll around like a little goof. I keep their couch covered with a sheet - sure is hard to change it with her trying to root underneath it.

HUGS ANNE! Even if you can't cook exactly right, I know Liz appreciates it anyway.

BIG HUGS to ALL of you...but I'll not take the bug please....

Nice of greener Zener to do this during the day! :mrgreen: Nothing better than hanging around listening to the rain and poking the cat. :lol: We are about the same temps and rain here too.

Sending a heap of unfrozen vines to Liz! Sounds like the snowflakes will be coming on their own soon.

Well, we haven't had a green PMPS in a while. :mrgreen: Looks like food spike at +1.5 but I wanted to check early since we had the green number to start. Of course, he could be heading for the trampoline too, we never really know. :cool:

@carla - thanks for all the good wishes, Zener had a good day and Liz is feeling a bit better. Thank goodness it is the weekend! :-D

@Ann & Maggie - Liz is feeling better and tired of laying around doing nothing, so that's a good sign. ;-)
ohmygod_smile on the tree falling! We are still having showers tonight, so it's been going on for 24 hours. We have well over an inch and up on the mountain it is snow, at least a new foot of snow. :shock:

@Bruce & Simon - thanks for the feel better wishes! Zener is cuddled up on the bed with Liz now, trying to keep her from being too bored. cat_pet_icon

@Lyresa - it's been a nice green day, who knows what the PM cycle will bring. ;-) We will do our best to keep the bug from coming your way.

@Josie & Ripley - thanks for the feel better thoughts, it's working for us all. :razz:

@Wendy & Neko - how uncharacteristic of Zener to do the drop at a convenient time for beans. :lol: We may have a 2nd night in a row of sleeping to raindrop sounds.

@Roni & Moonie - thanks for the healing vines and hugs. Saw on your condo you are now the enema queen. :shock: What a great title!

Liz is tucked in the bed listening to an audio book with Zener snuggled behind her knees. So, both are resting comfortably on this rainy night. Appy is happy for both!

A rainny evening, must be so nice to sleep through the night. That must be a food spike? Mr Z, turn around into a safe blue surf!
