....and we're still flat. It's a big help to us beans, since now we've got Petey to worry about.

He was great all evening...till about 10:30 or so. I guess the AB started kicking in and making him feel crappy. And, he did barf a huge hairball at about midnight, which I am sure did not help matters at all. He hasn't eaten much yet this morning, which of course has me worried, but he is much more bright-eyed that he was last night after the hairball. We actually did not give the bupe last night, because I wanted to see one drug reaction at a time. Now I know the AB is definitely going to be a bit of an issue. This morning, we did give him both meds, so hopefully the bupe will help his poor little mouth....

If the AB continues to be a problem, I'll call the vetty. It's clavamox, and I know SO many kitties have trouble with it. He had it when he was younger, and I don't remember it being a problem back then, but things can change. I guess she gave us clavamox instead of clindamyacin because I requested a liquid...Petey doesn't "do" pill pockets.

I'm pretty wipe, and have to go to work then food shop for beans and kitties. I may not have a chance to visit condos today, but will have everyone in my thoughts. I am SO very grateful for the support of my LL family - thank you so very much.

Morning Amy, I think Trixie is giving a nice safe flat blue so you won't worry and can focus on Petey. Sending Petey lots of healing and feel better vines and energy vines for you to get thru the day. Don't you wish Trader Joe's had delivery? :-D Hugs.

Such a nice start for Trixie - even nicer that she listened to you, gave you what you need today: nice flat numbers. Surf well little one, it will help your bean.

Good luck with Petey. I can so relate to the AB thing... It has been the same with us, and Mannie. I've always been able to give Clavamox to him, until the last go around... omg, that was awful. appy issues, LB issues, he just felt awful. I ended up dealing with that with adding some greek yogurt to his feedings, and that really did help, settled his stomach, helped with the LB too. Wishing you much luck with Petey. Many vines for him.

Morning guys sorry wasn't able to visit last night since I was at work but just catching up. So sorry to hear about Petey! Sending healing vines and a quick weekend so you can get his dental done and over with! Trixie's is at least being flat so you don't have to worry about her. Good luck with the ab's! Hugs, try to have a good Caturday!
 
Flat, flat, flat. Since these numbers aren't bad (although I'd like a little greener), I am happy with Trix's contribution to keeping things as leveled off as possible right now.

Rough day for poor Petey. The clavamox did not agree with him at all...after just 2 doses, he would not eat anything. So the vetty said to stop the AB for now, and she'll probably do an injection after the procedure on Monday. I'm sure she means convenia nailbite_smile ....I do want to talk to her about it first, but she is an awesome vet who knows her stuff. I do trust her fully with my kitties.

Pete finally started eating again around 7:00, and is definitely feeling more like his usual, feisty self. He was definitely feeling so crummy earlier. In fact, he wants some fuds and attention right now...better go tend to him!
