Good morning to you all! Shadow has 4 Ps so far today. He is doing well but not as hungry as he usually is in the morning. I added more FD chicken and he went back for a few more bites.
OT: I have news about my biopsy...the fine needle aspiration of my thyroid nodule came back benign! Yay! Luckily, there was a cancellation so I was able to get an appointment tomorrow morning at 8:40!! The doctor will confirm my diagnosis (I do believe all lab results point to Grave's Disease) and will discuss my options. I have been doing a lot of reading and have decided to not go for the ablation of my thyroid by RAI. This will be interesting since my doctor previously told me that prefers this treatment. There are things that I can try along with taking the meds in hopes that I will be able to cure this and go into remission as many have done. Since Grave's is an automimmune disease, the approach should take that into consideration. Fingers crossed that he will help me with this route.
Many thanks to you all for your kind thoughts and healing vines! The test results took forever to come back it seems. Of course, I was constantly calling his office and then calling all over the place to get people to move on this. It is very sad to come across so much inefficiency. I am very disappointed in the things that have happened. My jaw dropped so many times that I think I need a surgeon to look at that! Unbelievable!!
Hugs to you all! :YMHUG:
