He ate a little over 1/2 can for breakfast. I plan to feed LC snacks ever 30 minutes and check him at +2. Then I will add more carbs if needed to help coast.
 
Hmmm.. .I assume his old dose might still be affecting his numbers.
Im going to add a tiny bit more carbs... then maybe a little higher carb around +4.
 
agh... I didnt think he would drop that fast. Do I reduce again?? or could this still be the influence of yesterdays dose??
 
It’s being influenced by the higher depot. Feed higher carbs and see if he goes up easily and doesn’t come back down. The depot can last a good 4 cycles and sometimes longer.

Ok thats what I figured. I gave him some high carb and keeping an eye as usual.

So i will keep his dose the same, 2.75. If he has a low preshot or an early drop then I will just feed him some 13%-15% starting at +30minutes for the next few days and see how it goes.

PM... I gave him about 1 tsp of 13% with LC just before +1... I guess I will give him about a 1/3 of a can of 13% now at +1.5 .. then more at 2 and 2.5
 
Keep him hungry in case he keeps dropping. So feed small amounts. Something has changed and he is seeing great numbers. :D
 
You know him best. Sometimes if they eat a lot they won’t eat when we need them to eat. If not a problem ignore me.

Well I do want him to loose some weight so less is good.. Im just worried he needs the carbs. Should I do a smaller amount of food but more carbs... like a tsp of 25% instead??

Agh.. .I have to leave him alone tomorrow am from +1.5 to +4... any advice if you have time. I was thinking about leaving out frozen HC and giving him some HC or MC before I leave. I will have a baby monitor on him so I can watch and wake him up to eat if needed.

Edited to say I will test him at 1.5 before I leave... .and I would bring him with me but he is a mess in the car.

PM+3... so Ive only given half of a 3Oz can in 3 portions over the past 1.5 hours. Im going to give just a bit mixed in with his LC at +4 and +5 then LC after. He has already gone to bed so I will have to wake him up LOL
