I think a former member who has Maine Coons may have mentioned that she would blow on the spot where she was going to shoot which would move her cat's fur so she was better able to position the syringe vs. give a fur shot.

Could you put a comment on your SS as to how early you shot today? Remember, you'll need to adjust your shot time for tonight.

I shot at the normal time 6AM so its all good and i will post on SS too. :) Blowing and pulling on fur is the way i am going to roll :) we will see how it goes.
He is doing well today and will post BG as well. get caught up.

Kelly: It's hard to tell from the avatar, but if Oliver's hair is really long, shaving a watch-side patch would not be that noticeable. You can just comb the hair over the patch. I know this because I have a Siberian with LONG hair, and we've had to shave small areas due to mats before. Once we combed her, we couldn't see the spot without looking for it. Just a thought.

I know the SS is confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it. I've been doing this for 2.5 years and I'm still learning stuff about it! You're doing great and Oliver is lucky to have such a loving bean. (BTW, I make my DH do the am shot because I am NOT a morning person and he has to be up early for work anyway, so I undestand! :lol: ).
