Good Morning LL

Checks ate well. He seems to have surfed blue last night. He was 112 when I got up at +11.

Got up to test at +10, but he was curled up in cube, and it would have been too hard to get him out, so went back to bed. ( I can't get down on floor to do him in cube)

Of course, I planned to go out today, since we are having balmy weather in the 20's. :roll:
When he starts rising, I'm outta here. :smile:

Oh gosh, everything in me is screaming, "feed to slow the drop" I can't trust that he doesn't dive on lev nailbite_smile
I gave a little HC, at the 62, and from experience, I know think, it won't effect him for a while. I do this every time.
I over react to green, instead of giving the carbs time to work.
Rambling, sorry.

This boy is so smart and funny, my heart is so full, it hurts. :smile:

Normally, he's hanging out in the new cube, so I pick up the whole cube by the holes, hold it close to the floor, and set it on the couch to test. I can't get him out, and if I get down on floor, it's too hard to get back up. (knees)

Today, he's hanging out in the old one, with a tiny hole in it....can't pick it up with him in it. Sooooooo for the last two
tests, I lured him out by tossing tiny pieces of kibble at/near him.

This time, he just heard the meter beep, and suddenly came alert, stuck his head out and looked all around the floor, to see if I had tossed kibble. :lol: How in the world did he learn that so quickly!
My face hurts from laughing.

Now that I can, I don't feel like going shopping. :roll:

Hi Barb - I so love smart cats!! It was his plan all along... this cube = no pick up for the bean = treats = kibble = score, and I win! :lol: :lol: Well done Checks!

I'm glad that he has come up for you enough that you can get out for a while. What a great cycle for checks - WOO HOO on all that green! :-D

Checkers is showing off today. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Lovely cycle and a Mr. Smarty Pants. Amazing how quickly they'll learn tricks for the good stuff!

Boing boing boing.....I doubt it was 6 kibbles that drove his numbers up, but it was a fun way to get him out of the cube.
I never did get out, but I so enjoyed the run of green numbers, so it was worth it. I'll try again tomorrow.

There is a cat pictured on Community that is the spitting image of my Clancy. It took my breath away!
It's the abandoned one looking for home....in Fla......wish I could take on another cat.

What a beautiful day for Checkers!! I hope he clears his bounce and comes back down to do it again. Too cute on him getting you trained to dispense the kibbles. They must sit and laugh at us beans. We are so easily trained!!!!
