Bummer about the bounce, I think maybe next time you see a cycle where he's headed downward to preshot, try and catch the next cycle a little earlier than +5. I would have probably tested at +2. When Mav was on Lantus, he often would give me his lowest number by +3 or +4 on a cycle like that, so I often found if I fed him a little earlier when he was lower, that helped to prop him up. Just a thought for next time :)
