Morning ~O) ~O) and Maggie is still touching the yellow floor. I had a good syringe this morning! I normally don't test her at the +2, but she jumped onto her testing spot, so I thought maybe she was dropping. The 196 ATrak # is a 168 on the Relion Micro! Four P's in place, so no zoom, zoom yet! Maggie let me sleep in til the alarm went off, so I'm feeling more rested and hope to get more stuff done today.

Melissa, glad to hear Turnup wants treats, good sign.

Amy, hope Mags keeps up this schedule. She will get extra play time today so she'll be sleepy at night.

Hi Ann!! Maggie is looking great this morning!!! Isn't it great when we can string together a whole night's worth of sleep with no interruptions from our furry friends?!!! Glad you got your rest....it really does a body good!!

I think I gave Maggie a dosecrease . It's a long, boring story with the measuring.

Patty, it is great when our furry friends let us sleep thru the night.
Linda, yes, shooting an hour later really helps.

Nice and steady there Maggie, and you let the bean sleep this morning! I think most of us walk around in a daze, Ann.

Tess is still liking the NV organic chicken, but it is so pricy. But at 65kcal/oz i could feed her less. It still isn't as low as the homemade for carbs or phos, but so much easier! And she likes it better. At least it's something to keep in the rotation. You asked if I got it from Mr Chewey, they only have the canned as far as I can see. I have to sign up w/ NV to get the coupon and I'd like to try the other varieties if I could find somewhere that had the sample size. The local shop only could get the 3lb bag, so I am very grateful that she likes it. You said you found it at PetSmart? I may have to check other stores as the one here is quite small and doesn't have a freezer.
 
Good luck with the dosecrease!! I hope it brings Maggie back into those beautiful greens. Thank you for your support with Turnup. DH freaks out at any little change with her. It's so sweet. :lol: Hugs to you and scritches to Maggie!!

Nice that today was more restful. Maybe you'll have a restful night, too!

I saw your question in Tess's condo about what you can do if you're alone when you start to choke. Yes, it is possible to do a type of Heimlich Maneuver on yourself (I learned this in a First Aid class): You lean into the back of a straight chair and do an upward thrust, aiming for the place (above the navel) where a person administering the Heimlich Maneuver would place her fist. Here is the relevant sentence from the American Red Cross handbook:
If you are alone and choking, you can give yourself abdominal thrusts by leaning over a firm object, such as the back of a chair, and pressing your abdomen into it.

It's best, however, not to put yourself in this situation!!
