Happy Caturday. Sending more prayers to Angela and her DH today. Also sending healing vines to all ailing kitties and beans.

Gracie's eyes are much better today. I soaked them three times yesterday and again this morning. She was a little sniffly overnight but she has been back to wild and crazy baby this morning and has done full body tackles on Tobes several times. He is such a sweet, sweet boy. He just loves her so much that it just doesn't matter when she does that. He's just happy to play with her.

We're dealing with another bounce today after that steep drop last night. And this is what I have to say about it all :roll: :roll: :roll: ;-)

We got to the refi closing yesterday (we got 3.5% for 10 years, no closing costs, 0 points) and signed all the paperwork and then realized they had one wrong number. So we had to race home, check Gracie, and then go back and re-sign. Then we went to a movie.

I'm working today. I'll be around the next few nights but a little on the not so much around Tues-Thurs next week. I hope you all have a great day.

Hi Marje:

Glad to hear Gracie's eyes are better. How does she deal with the soaking process? Does she seem to enjoy it, or just put up with it (or not :lol: )? I can't imagine any of my kitties sitting still for that. It's hard enough to get Cinco to let me put the drops in his eyes. But then, your kitties all seem to be so cooperative and sweet. Must be a trait of their breed. :-D

Her numbers were so nice yesterday, and today's bounce isn't too high, so maybe she'll slide back down a little for you.

Boo on the resigning mess - as if there weren't enough paperwork when you have to do it once. Good catch on the error, though. Those things can be mind-numbing to read and process. @-)

Good Afternoon, Marje! I'm glad that Gracie is looking better today with her eyes. She must be soooo patient to have that done ;-) Tobey sounds like such a sweetie! Lovin his Gracie, no matter what she does, he takes it as love taps (or love tackles :lol: ). Come down from that bounce please, Gracie :-D

I'm glad you got the refi sorted out, and got out to see a movie. I hope you have a great Caturday, and see some greens again later on! :razz:

Hi Tricia and Rachel! She is an absolute angel about her warm compresses to her eyes. She is a very sweet baby girl and tolerates everything we do for her that most cats wouldn't tolerate. It's like she knows we are doing what we do to make her feel better. And I bet the compresses feel good to her eyes.

Much better numbers for Princess Grace today! We still have to clean Emma's eyes twice a day (cotton ball dipped in warm water), not gooey, but a little crusty. I just am afraid if we stop they'll get as bad as when we found her. I can't say she is crazy about it, but she does put up w/ it and all the toofie stuff really well.

Boy have i missed a lot, congrats on getting the refi done, we did that a few years ago too.

I'm glad Gracie's eyes are doing better. That's not bad for a bounce. I hope she slides back down tonight.
 
What a weird cycle today. Down to 126 then back up to 178 (probably a food spike), then 240 :shock: , then 177. So it's either (a) inverted curve (b) bad strip at +10 or (c) bad pen. I didn't change the pen; just wanna see what she'll do tonight. Plus, if it is the pen and I change it, she could have me up all night again tonight. Two pj parties in a row is not my kind of fun but I'll take 90s!!! Come on baby girl!
 
Weird cycles seem to be the theme around here the last few days!!

Come on Gracie...your mamabean needs a break!

Good catch on the paperwork! Getting it fixed before it's all official is a lot better than finding it later!! They make those forms so hard to understand anyway!
 
Hi Marje, so glad to see that Gracie's eyes are much better. Aw, that Tobey, what a sweetie. Sounds like LBG just has everyone wrapped around her little paws. Lupita included!
Hope she continues a nice glide down tonight.

Oh I am so glad Gracie is doing better tonight. It must be really hard to be a blind kitty.

Getting a break on mortgage is such a big relief! Glad you caught the mistake so fast.

You mentioned a bad strip or pen when you were sharing. Do strips go bad? :?:
