1-24 TYLER AMBG -74 Two Years OTJ Today Happy Day

Hello all, today marks 2 years that Tyler has been in remission. ( knock on wood )
When I first joined Linda @MrWorfMen's Mom took me under her wing and guided me through everything. Tyler was on Vetsulin in the beginning and wasn't doing to bad at all but Linda suggested that I switch to Lantus which I did . Believe it or not it took 2 years and 4 months to get Tyler into remission. So don't ever give up hope because it can happen . Linda hasn't been on the board for years but hopefully she might see this. She did e mail me the day Tyler went OTJ and congratulated me.
I also want to thank Marji @Marje and Gracie Carla @carfurby (GA) , Wendy @Wendy&Neko , Sienne @Sienne and Gabby (GA) , Elise @tiffmaxee and Suzanne @Suzanne & Darcy , Bhooma @Bandit's Mom for all of their advice after Linda left.
If it wasn't for them and their advice I know Tyler wouldn't be in remission today.
Tyler says thank you too :p
I hope everyone has a nice day, all the kitties stay safe, and prayers for all the kitties that aren't feeling that well . :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

woohoo!! Go Tyler!!

Coincidentally, I just checked Hendrick yesterday for the first time since Dec 8th: he came in at 82, at what would have been a PM +3 if we were shooting insulin

took my wife holding him firmly and even then he thrashed and struggled and we barely pulled it off on 1 poke. Wow, that old conditioning is all but gone at this point

Congratulations Diane, and Happy Remission Day to Tyler!!! Very inspiring to hear that he went into remission after 2+ years … talk about “patience pants”! Thank you for staying on to help inspire and encourage others. This place wouldn’t be the same without you :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Kyle , Oh Hendrick did you forget what a good boy you were when dad tested you:p.
Now you better be a good boy :cat:
I really think Tyler loves to be tested :p he starts to purr as soon as I put him on the couch, that's where I test him .

Hendrick starts purring as soon as the freeze-dried turkey treats come out....before that, not so much lol

you are lucky! Happy Remission Day and here's wishing you many more happy anniversaries of the day

Big Big congratulations Diane! And of course to Mr Tyler Cat !!!!! You beautiful boy, you.
Diane, your continuing advice and encouragement to all is just priceless. I for one may never have made it in here without you. So happy for you, and slow blinky luv eyes from Kitkat :cat::cat::D:D :otj: :bighug::bighug:

Congratulations Diane and Tyler!!…what a fabulous anniversary to celebrate…hoping to reach this one myself :cat:
Your story was inspiring to me when I felt a little hopeless and I think it’s done a lot for many on this board….and speaking of doing a lot…Your efforts are SO appreciated. I do hope you know that! This is an anniversary very well deserved. :bighug:

That’s a great anniversary to mark! It really is inspiring that Tyler was on insulin for over two years and still managed to go into remission and is still there two years later! You are able to share this with others on the Board and give them hope. Happy Second Anniversary, Tyler!
