[Mocha'sMom]

A good start to the day, and a lovely green for his nadir. :mrgreen: I didn't do any extra tests today (even though I was home) because his ears are getting a little bruised up again. I think tonight he is going to get some Vit E on them :roll: It's only his least favorite experience, next to being brushed. It doesn't hurt him, he just seems to dislike the sensation, so sometimes I gleefully torture him with a little extra tlc. :twisted:

Nice :mrgreen: !!! I hope Mocha surfed those greens beautifully for you! Trix is funny, too...she doesn't mind the ear poke, but she gets SO annoyed with me when I blot after the pokey. Silly girl.

The easy I have avoided Gracie getting bruises even when we test a lot is I use baby wash cloths. Before I test, I get one wet and cold (not freezing) and then SS soon as I poke and the meter draws the sample, I hold the cold cloth on the poke spot and put pressure on it. It stops the bleeding right away and also prevents bruising.
