January 23, 2019 Condo - Reduction Failed
Good morning all,
Okay, I have absolutely no idea what's going on with Lou. I had a feeling the reduction failed yesterday morning, but I wanted to wait and make sure. Last night, he may have bounced, but he never left the blues. The problem is, Lou really doesn't bounce to reds, so having two reds in such close proximity worries me greatly. I was willing to let the first one slide as a panic from a BG in the 30s, but going up to red for seemingly no reason? I don't think he got into contraband, but even if he had, he doesn't usually go that high (it depends on the contraband). It was the last pull from our Levemir pen, so perhaps that could be a reason as well...
*Sigh. Whatever, it doesn't really matter at this point what the reason is as long as he doesn't stay that high. What this has established is that the reduction failed. Maybe it was an IAA fluke that had him go low enough for a reduction, or IAA that's making him need to go back up so quickly. Whatever it is, I've increased him back up to 4.25u this morning. I desperately hope to see better numbers today. Those reds make my stomach roll.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and your kitties surf safely. Sending vines to Miss. P (@Phoebes), Nelli (@Krystina & Nelli), and Ravan (@JoyBee&Ravan).
