Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ohmygod_smile I'm hoping this is just a bounce. I have no other explanation, unless John was drawing the dose a little differently than i do while i was gone. Still getting used to the Terumo syringes too. Tess has all the Ps and seems content. There is stress in the house because of DM and DS but she doesn't seem to feel it. And she hasn't seemed to notice the little white cat outside.

Please keep DM in your prayers. It may be wishful thinking on my part that a skin cancer will be easier to deal w/. We have an appt w/ an oncologist on Monday.

Speaking of the little white cat, I took her to our vet yesterday and she has no chip. Also tested negative for FeLV/FIV, but appears to have upper respiratory infection, severe gingivitis and no spay scar! I put up a note on Craig's list and checked around but no luck. Both our vet and we are concerned about Tess being exposed to what she may have. I'm very torn about keeping her.She should be a good candidate for adoption as she lets me pet her and pick her up. I'll talk to a friend who volunteers at the Humane Society this afternoon. After the vet visit she escaped the carrier and i really didn't think she would come back again, but she showed up for dinner last night! :-D :-D Here are some pix on the CL notice http://slo.craigslist.org/laf/3564955869.html

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club, and cuddled up for our overcast morning.

Awww......Little White Kitty looks so sweet. Thank you for taking her to the Vet and trying to find a good home. I wish you could keep her, any way possible? Sending healing vines and prayers to your DM. That's too bad about the DS and stress. Is the squamous skin cancer well advanced? I have an upstairs neighbor that has had that same skin cancer and has been successfully treated. I hope Tess climbs down.

Hi Ann & Tess,

Tess, Rusty misses you in the lagoon. Hurry back there, OK?

The White Kitty looks as if she could have been abandoned. She doesn't seem to be feral since she allows you to feed her and take her to the vet. Was she afraid at the vet? I hope you can find a home for her. Of course you have to be careful that Tess doesn't pick up anything that she might have, like the upper respiratory thing.

I'm sending many prayers to your DM for the successful treatment of her Squamous cell tumor. Is it on her face? I had one removed about 8 years ago from my temple, near the eye. I had the Mohs procedure, where they take microscopic slices of tissue, examine them under the microscope, and keep slicing and examining until they see no more cancer cells. The whole procedure takes a while because you have to sit and wait about 1/2- 3/4 hour between slices. I think I had about 5 or 6 slices and was there most of the day. I got through the book that I brought and had to read some magazines, too. It doesn't hurt. The surgeon was skilled and the whole thing left no scar. I forget how many stiches it required.

Have a good evening. Are you getting used to the Terumos?

Ella & Rusty

Prayers to your DM. Glad to see Tess down off the red floor. Little White Kitty is adorable! Will she let you treat the URI?

Re: 1/23 Tess AMPS~476 PMPS~256

Nice slide today. I think we determined that John had been giving a little fatter dose so I went w/ that last night and this morning.

Ella. the Terumos are interesting and I think we're getting used to them!

Unfortunately the tumor is not on her face and fairly inaccessible so is quite large. I've read about the Mohs surgery and don't think it cold be used for this. We are just hoping that it hasn't spread to lymph nodes.

I am soooooooooo, tempted by the LWC! But Tess comes first. I talked to a friend and she suggested a humane society up north, a bit of a drive but a very nice facility. I really don't want to take her to the county as they aren't "no kill." i think she is very adoptable, I might go back and do that if she is healthy and still there. I just can't have her around Tess!
