What to say about yesterday... oh! I know... I HATE PINK. :roll: :lol: on a serious note: we have had 12 cycles without a green, a few mid level blues have shown, but not much else. What is so ironic is that on 1/16 we spent 2-3 hours surfing the 41-42 range, and if I had not been feeding those 2-3 hours with a 14% fuds he would have received a reduction, as there is no doubt he would have been below 40.. Well so it is. Mannie is due for an new pen, so for now, first thing I will do is start the new pen, tomorrow night when I am around to monitor him, just in case the issue here is a pen that has lost it's potency - though one would think that at 30 days, it should be good. Should that not make a difference, there will be a dosecrease. So Mannie.... read your condo! :lol: Lubs ya big guy, we will get you back to those numbers that you love. Right? cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Last night my DD, DSIL and DGS stopped by for an impromptu visit. It was nice to see them, especially Nicholas. What was so fun about this visit was that Mannie, who was in the back part of the house, heard Nicholas and came running (yes running, which for Mannie is a rarity :shock: :shock: ) out to the room where we were. He went right up to him and purred and purred. He rubbed DGS's arm, and waited while Nicholas stopped what he was doing and started to pet him. I was so amazed at how gentle Nicholas was with Mannie - the softest slowest touch. WOW! Best buddies for sure... Here are a couple of photos: too bad Mannie doesn't show up too well, but you get the idea.... We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I am off to have my car serviced - finally! after several delays for a variety of reasons I am officially on their books fort his morning. So help me there had better not be any snafu's this time! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mornin Michelle ~O) ~O) awww... I can't get over how adorable it is between Nicholas and Mannie and the pics show it. Mannie really missed his little buddy, and I can tell how gentle DGS is with him. On the second pic, it looks like Mannie is saying, don't stop petting me! :-D
I hope the new pen shows better numbers. Maybe it is the old pen losing potency. I tend to use my vial til it's on its last breath! :lol: Good luck with getting the car serviced and hope no major repairs. They seem to always find something on my car, so fingers and paws crossed for just routine service today. Hope you can squeeze in a walk.

Hey Mannie, chilling out sounds good to me. It's raining here, so we needs some place dry, and a fireplace for sure and hot toddies. I'll be waitin at same spot, Maggie

I hope you get better numbers from a new pen. Nicholas looks different without a jacket! They are precious together!

Oh how sweet the relationship that Mannie and DGS have developed. It is truly amazing. Um Mannie, you might want to read your condo today buddy. Yuck on pink. Yay for blue and green.

Those are neat pics of Nicholas and Mannie. They really have a great relationship!
Mannie, your mamabean wants you to get your numbers down. She doesn't like pink! So work on it, OK? You have another day to get it right.

Michelle, good luck with your car today. I hope it's just routine stuff and that you'll be able to squeeze in a walk. My repair shop is near a beautiful hiking trail, so that's where I go when they are working on the car.

Yo Mannie, Yeah, that curling was fun, but exhausting sliding around on the ice, chasing the "stone". And it was hard to manipulate those brooms. I think we need a day of chillaxin'. See ya soon. Where? Here?

Morning Ann - thanks on the pics. I was just so cool to see how excited Mannie was to see Nicholas. And yes - he did wait for more pets. It was so fun. -- and me too on the pen. I will eliminate that variable before upping his dose. I too will use them til they are done. It usually is around the 30 day mark, maybe a few days past. Well we shall see on that one. and thanks on the car - it should just be routine... paws crossed! and yes, on the walk!

Hi Ella - thx, and yes they do - what a joy to see them hit it off so well. i will read Mannie your comments too - these numbers are so so frustrating! I know he can do eh 40/50 range on this dose... sure wish his internal parts would remember that. :lol: thx on the car - there are a few parks within walking distance, and since we have partially sunny day so far I think I will walk while they work on it. It is a 2/3 hour appt, so lots of time to get out for a walk.

Hi barb - I so agree! Those two really are best buds. I just could not believe how quickly Mannie came looking for him, once he heard his voice. it was just great. adn more than likely: Mannie giving me a permission slip to be gone for most of today. what a guy!

Hi guys .. ok mannie, enough of the pink! I hope the new pen does the job .. we could never get more then about 28 days from a pen with mocha's numbers, before they went up and up .. How sweet that Nicholas and mannie are becoming such best buds .. mannie must really have missed him if he was running :-D Have a great day!

I love hearing how Nicholas and Mannie are bonding. You must have been thrilled to see Mannie come running when he heard Nicholas. Simon and Cleo are scared to death of children so I really wish I had given them the opportunity to hang around children more when they were younger. They wouldn't be so scared now.

Nice seeing those blues this evening. Pink is just plain ugly!

Hi Georgia - Yep - it really was cool when He came so at to see nicholas. Fun!! I hear you on cats and small children. Mannie wasn't too sure about the whole thing when we first started caring for DGS, but over time he has really come to like the kid. And I so agree on the blues!!

Well that is a very interesting +2 for Mannie since he usually goes UP for his food spike then. Glad to see he came down and I hope the new pen tonight will give him the umpf he needs to get back down into those 40s...gradually...not all at once or at light speed.

What adorable pics of Nicholas and Mannie. And Mannie came RUNNING? WOW!!! I love Nicholas's hair....so darling.

Hi Roni - you were right! you always are. :-D they are the best of buds . It was so heart warming to see Mannie despond the way he did. very cool! we had sun today - cold at 35, but a very pretty day. rains are due tomorrow. normalcy here in the PNW.
