Gave an increase this morning, slowly and steadily increasing Lantus to try to get her overall curve down without all night insane cycles 😬

Ivy seems to be doing pretty well, drinking has still been elevated a bit, peeing has come down a bit.
Very glad we don’t have a uti going on.

She’s eating her meals well, just needs my involvement on the snacks. Sigh.

I need to go to the grocery store today, but dreading it. Huge winter storm coming and I’m sure it will be insane there today 😩

Glad that's she's doing better meow. I love her majestic throne and her toys. Is that Peppa pig 🐖 🥹
Hopefully the storm isn't as big as they're saying. We're supposed to get some snow on sunday (of course I'm working that day). In the meantime its just really cold over here.
Good luck with the shopping trip and hopefully Ivy behaves while you're gone.

Thanks, Allie. Ivy did well while I ran out to do a few errands.
The roads were very busy and the shelves were pretty sparse at the grocery store.
You might think we may never see groceries again 🤦‍♀️
I couldn’t get almond milk, either of the creamers I like, or some of the vegetables I like.
I noticed there was no chicken, ground meats section was empty.
Lamb roasts, zero (the ones I buy to cook for Ivy).

Bread section was very empty.
It was crazy!

I hope both of our areas are not too badly affected. Although it looks kind of ominous 😬

Store was really depleted! Crazy how nuts people get.

Shopping was kind of hellish today. Glad that’s done.

We plan to go out for dinner tomorrow, then will be home before the snow begins late Saturday night.

Will pick up some pizza on Saturday to have for dinner on Sunday when it’s snowing ❄️❄️❄️

I hope it’s not bad where you are. And hope the storm doesn’t keep you from getting home to your boys 🐈🐈😻🥰💕
 
Good luck with the increase! Glad she's feeling well enough to return to her favourite chair, it looks made for her! Always a worry when they're not in their usual spots.

Can't believe the grocery store scenario either! Sounds like everyone's scared of this storm that seems to be hitting the east. Hope you can all stay warm! 🤗 🤗

ugh.. I wish I had increased sooner.. idk. :( I read somewhere u should wait 5 days to increase when nadirs lower than 100.. I been doing 3 days and always been told its cool.. but maybe that's the minimum to be safe.. now he's like in 200s...... I'm trying to help him heal.. so frustrating. :(

but seems like their hyping it up to.. like.. possibly. just good be prepared in case. HUGS!!!!!!
(we're down down south.. not sure if we/ll see anything.. :/ )

You’ll get his BG down with an increase. His numbers are normally very good!
Try not to stress over that, it’s one thing that’s normally very good for him 💕💕💕

Oof, that sounds intense! I'm sorry you couldn't get everything you wanted at the store. I did a scheduled grocery delivery (something I indulge in a little too much, but grocery shopping on a bicycle can be hard), and I was so worried that everything would be out of stock, but I guess my timing was good.

I honestly love a good snowstorm (and as a renter without a car, I don't have to shovel anything), but I hope infrastructure holds up for everyone affected! Stay cozy with Ivy. I'm glad she was good while you were out. ❤️
 
Love the picture. I hope the new dose helps flatten Ivy out. I hope you don't lose your power. Where I live we have a chance of freezing rain and ice along with the snow. I hope we don't lose power.
