Sounds like your day is starting off great. Wonderful AMPS this morning, Rusty. 0 degrees instead of 10 below? Is there much of a difference because they both sound unbearably cold. Have a fabulous Saturday!

Brrrr!! The current temp here in Ohio is 5 degrees. Days like this are why I will never give up my down parka! Rusty is looking awesome this AM- a good test, even. I wish we could manage that here. Sounds like a happy Caturday for all!

Sounds like you can go with only a lightweight sweater! 0 is so much better than -10!! Oh yeah...you can REALLY feel the difference those extra 10 degrees make.

Wishing you a wonderful trip! My two are on their way now....they want to do some shopping and go to a matinee....they are just beside themselves with excitement! They put on their really amazing "Cool City Cat " outfits and are going to enjoy the never sleeping part of NYC! :lol: Hope Rusty enjoys hosting them all in his new condo!

OK - that is dang COLD. travel safe, enjoy the winter wonderland. as crazy as it is I wish we had some of that... a little snow, a little cold... what is it they say - we always think it's greener on the other side. we have rain - oh what fun. Have a great trip. I am sure Rusty will travel like a pro - I hope he likes his temp home in the city.

Hi All,

We had a really good trip. Rusty is a terrific traveler, even better than Stu, and that's saying something!! He slept on Edward's lap a lot of the time. Used his lb, ate a bite of lunch and a couple of GRandma Lucy's chicken treats, perked up on the drive through Queens (5 1/2 hours into the trip), and had a good appetite when we arrived. Then we opened the new red cube and had a game with big bug. He explored (that didn't take long, since the apt. Is a little bigger than a large closet), had his test and dinner and shot and is now sleeping on the coffee table. I stayed with him tonight so that he would know that he wasn't abandoned in a strange place. But I think he realizes that and that all will be fine when we are out doing our things. Edward went to the concert of early music.

So glad that you had a good safe trip! I knew Rusty would handle it well. Sounds like he knows he's with you to stay. I hope Edward enjoyed the concert - is was part of a transcript he did, yes? have an enjoyable day tomorrow!

Rusty - I like the big city! It is so cool - We had such fun when re went to the hot dog vendor - I don't think he knew what to do with all those kitties that wanted dogs. What fun! party on tonight! I hope your beans don't mind... ~~ Mannie
