HEALTH AND DOSE INFO:
Yesterday was..... recovery day in MannieLand. :-D The amps was awful - a carryover from the day before. It was great to see him take a slow slide down into the yellows for pmps. He ate very well yesterday, and I was able to feed his regular fuds. He ate in his normal chow down spot, CPC each feeding, Bathing always followed, some were very long baths. All of this speaks recovery. LB was normal. I also gave him a brushing, which went well until I grabbed the comb. That got a hiss... guess all is normal in MannieLand. He HATES that comb..... I also did another ketone test: Negative. He seems to be doing OK yesterday - seemed a little spacey late in the morning, seemed OK in the afternoon. I will attribute that to the bupe, and may cut back some. All in all, he seems better, though a little slow moving. After all he has been though I'm not too surprised. I have no plans to rush him on anything, we go with the flow, with what he tells me he needs. Mannie - here's to you, some very strong feel better vines. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie continues to do his normal things, though at times he seems to be a bit slow. I think it is just him trying to feel better, that perhaps there are moments when his body remembers that it has been darn sick. As with anything he does, he needs time, and so he shall get it. I need to learn to worry less, all will be as it is, and he is getting better. Yesterday was much like the day before it: we had one on one time, lots of pets, scritches. The nanners have been visited, slept on, cuddles. His bed has been his place of choice for sleeping, as it really is much warmer than the nanners pile. He continues to visit me in the morning in the bathroom while I get ready for the day. I vacuumed again yesterday, and once again I cut him some slack and let the nanners alone. :lol: :cool: Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. Appy was good: he ate. 95% Close to normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I have a hair cut appt this morning, and then an appt for my car for a routine oil change. Hope that goes well and they don't seek me out to say they "found something". :shock: :lol: It is going to be a busy day....

Hey everybody!!! WOW on yesterday. I don't know how to top our train adventure. That was so fun. We gots to go back and do that again! What'd'ya wanna do today? I think a radiator day is in order... Rusty? can we, huh? It's so cold out that maybe we can bake cookies too? Cimmamum ones? maybe even a pizza... I lubs pizza! I'll bring lots of fleece.... and some niptinis! You guys in? Great news! Just wanted I wanted to see when I opened your condo. Slow going, but he will be 100% in no time. Way to go big guy. Keep eating your fuds and not letting your bean vacuum or use that terrible comb. Have fun at the hair cut. Always nice to get that done. Good luck with the car repair. Hi guys .. so nice to see mannie down from those REAL ugly numbers! We always think this color is the worst, till the others rear their little heads .. but it is encouraging to hear that mannie is doing better each day .. and all I can say about worrying less is GOOD LUCK :lol: I think all of us here are the worlds best worriers! Morning Michelle, really nice report on Mannie. You're in tune with him and listening when he's ready and no rushing. The bathing and lb are good indicators, too, he's getting back to Mannie normalcy. I'll bet he had the squinty eyes when the vacuum came out yesterday. :lol: Hope all goes well with your car today. They always find something wrong with my car! Enjoy getting out for a haircut. I hope to get in a walk today. I miss all the dogs along the way. Sending lots of good vines for Mannie.

Hey Mannie,

As soon as I finish cleaning the whipped cream from my fur, I'll be ready to go. My bean says it's super cold out and I am not allowed to stay outside for long or I'll freeze my whiskers off! :o That is what she said. So, we can either visit Rusty's radiators or everyone come over here and enjoy my nice warm bean bed! It's got lots of blankets and comforters, great places to hide and bestest of all, the bean will serve us fuds and drinks in bed! We never have to leave! Hmmmm, on second thought, maybe it is too cold to go out.........and bestest to stay in bed.

Yay for blue Mannie, much better color on you!! Glad he is off of the yucky floors. Nice to hear he is starting to feel better. paws crossed things still keep improving. Enjoy your day out. Hey Mannie,

You are getting fuds in bed too from your bean! Cool! Now in order to get that every day no matter what, you need to make your bean think you are just too weak to get out of bed to eat. Put on your most pathetic face and the bean will do your bidding, then you can lay back wait to be served.

I reached the point, where I can just curl up in bed, tuck my paws underneath and have a waiting look on my face. It works every time. And if the bean is still in bed, then walk up to her face and meow as loud as you can. That will wake her up and get her making your fuds.

It's great when the beans are trained!

Hey Mannie,

I'm in bed and waiting for you guys! I gots the remote so we can watch MTV, Animal Planet and all the meovies we want! I got my brush, so we can have fun brushing each other and oops, I started eating the fuds already. But no worries, the bean will refill it quick and give us yummy, good stuff.

Oh Ollie - you can play hide and seek and throw feathers and hide under the covers and jump on the bed. It's lots of fun, just be careful you don't bounce off and hit your head on the floor! Ouchies that hurts, I know, I've done it.

So hurry up and let's get the bed party started!

352 @ +9. UGH! The dreaded bounce maybe, plus his usual +9/10 spike. Darn it, and I hope he will find the blues again today. He seems pretty good today, asking for a snack after his test, so we gave him some chicken. LB was a little questionable: too soft, so we will keep an eye on that. I have not given him any bupe yet today, he seems to be OK without it. That too we will keep an eye on, see if there is any indication of pain. All in all, despite that 352, a good day so far for Mannie. :-D :cool:

511 @ PMPS. ohmygod_smile UGGGLLLYYYYYYYYYYY! And the bounce is in full swing. Though I did expect it, I had hoped he wouldn't go this high. Poor Mr Liver just didn't know what to do with those pretty blues Mannie had today.... :roll: Mannie seems good tonight, no worse for wear for not having any bupe so far today. He was waiting for his test when I hot home, came to this spot on his own. Waited for his dinner, and ate very well, in his normal fuds spot, no breffis in bed tonight. He's now in full bath mode and settling down for his post dinner nap. All in all it's been a good day for him. He still seems a bit slow, but hopefully that too will improve in the next few days.

oh mannie, what a drama boy! yikes on the high - punkin's been flirting with the 500's for a couple of days too, but i pulled out the R and ramped up the Lantus to get him off the mountaintops!

glad to hear the little guy is feeling better. is he laying against the water bowl? punkin always does when his numbers go so high. we're cheering for mannie!

Hi julie - THX for the visit! So Mannie has a comrade in arms... Punkin - no place for a cutie like you to be. ;-) Yes, he is feeling better - it has been a tough few weeks for him, but we are on the mend, bringing the drama with him. Sometimes yes with the water bowl, it is his friend when he goes this high.
