1/21 Shakes-sticking with 4 units

ok so crappy night last night...
todays amps was 416
and his +6 was 201...almost blue!
I am thinking the the 4 units was not a bam, but definately needed..
I will stick with the 4 for awhile to see what happens
looks like everyone is doing pretty well out there today :mrgreen:

Thats great Denise! Yellow never looked so good! Last two days we have had blue preshots in the evening, but nasty pink 300s in the morning. I think there is some bouncy bouncy going on.
Hopefully this yellow trend will continue for you!
 
I took a peek at shakes SS. Have you changed anything since the 9th?
He had some good PS numbers before the 9th.

Yes I changed the meter,
I was using the freestyle light and it was not giving us accurate readings(yes for a year)
so I started using the alphatrack which is what my vet uses
 
Ok. I was wondering about food change or treats during the day. I read on your notes you change to Alpha Trax, but didn't think about the meter change & BG #s....duh! Ok yes I am still in training.... :lol:

Now you get accurate #s & give the right amount of insulin.

Come on Dear Shakes! Here's hoping the 4 units gives you good numbers.
