Mannie started out yesterday well.... until he decided that he needed to raid Elsa's fuds. I swear things are always greener on the other side. And this bean needs to be more attentive, and pick up her bowl.... :roll: He spent the rest of the day fluctuating between the blue and the yellow floor. It actually was a nice flat surf. :-D This morning - pink, again. Come on down Mannie, the blue floor is where it is at. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Our snows are finally melting, we are finally warming up. :-D And both kitties were so anxious to go outside yesterday. How in the world did they know things are melting - it was still a sea of white out there... I opened the door for them and I swear you could see the wave of disappointment come over both of them. They both turned around and went back to bed. Poor babies! No doubt both were dreaming of green fields and sunny skies and blades of grass to chew. Mannie probably had a few nanners in his dreams too. Today guys - today will be better! :-D We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Such a high level of normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! Not too sure what is up today. I need to get to the store... I hope all leftover snow slush will disappear soon. Our street, not a well traveled one, is covered with it. :lol: :lol: It looked so much better when it was white.

Hey everybody!!! well sadly all our snow is gone.... we have what my bean says is slush. I don't like it much - it's messy... the skating rink melted, and the ski jump kinda fell apart, and the snow forts are shrinking... what a bummer! BUT! Fear not! I think we will find something as good to do! Like visit Rusty - I think he still has snow... or maybe we should do some hang gliding. What'd'ya guys think? ~~ Mannie

Hey Mannie, It's snowing lightly here and we have cold weather and some new snow. We could go snowshoeing and then come in and sit by the stove and eat cimmamum cookies and drink hot tuna toddies. Waddya think? The ice is finally good on the ponds and lakes. We could try curling. There's a curling court on one of the ponds near here. Beans are curling and their droolers are running around on the ice. Or we could go ice fishing or ice skating. See ya later,

Hi Michelle,
This sounds like a chores day for us both. I hope that your roads are clear enough now to be able to venture out on them! Mannie and Elsa are blaming you for the snow and slush? Stu used to blame us because his range of motion outside was severely limited by the snow. Rusty isn't interested in going out in the snow at all! He'll go out for a few minutes on the walkway and come back in immediately.

Actually today I would like to trade numbers :roll: :? :lol: At least it is warm and the slush won't freeze into ice ruts. Off to SB, still not sure about the class actually going, I may get back early.

I think they are leaving me again, so I can come as soon as they are gone. Meanwhile, I'll kook pathetic. :twisted: hey, they had scones for breffis, I'll see if I can snag some. -- Tess

I'm glad your snow is going away, although I hate dealing with slush. I don't blame Mannie for not wanting to get his precious feet and fur wet in all that yuckiness.

Hi Ella - Roads are better - highways and freeways are in good shape, side streets still are a mess. the ice still lingers under all that slush. and now winds! oh well, at least I can get out - that part is good. And yes - they are blaming us - with that "FIX IT!" look on their faces. :lol: :lol: yup - it will be a good chores day! :roll:

Glad the snow is melting so I hope it is getting warmer for you but not fun to get out in slush!! Hope you will have a great day and dry out some up there.

Mannie...we're headed for Rusty's to do some fun winter sports but Tobey wants to get Herbie first and I'll be sure we bring Willie, too. What a fun day! I wonder if I can make Screaming Lizards a warm drink???

hi michelle. what do you think about taking mannie's dose up to 2.75u?
looks like he needs a little push to get more green. sometimes just a couple or three doses is enough to do the trick...
 
Hi Jill - been thinking about that. it's been a few cycles since he spent time in the 40's. I too think he could use a little push. I just need to figure out a good time to do it.
