Obviously Gracie got more sleep than Mike and I did last night because she's been romping around here with Tobey this morning. She's been a little brown blur so I might have to change her nickname from LBG to LBB :lol: :lol: :lol: Maybe she's just running on adrenaline but I think I could use some of it as the coffee isn't doing the trick. She's her usual sweet, purry self even though she got a lot of pokes yesterday. She extends an invite to Neko to join her at the lagoon
I was positive I gave a short shot this morning ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile I was really in a fuzzy haze and I got the dose perfect. But when I inserted the syringe into her left flank area, it didn't feel like I had pulled up enough skin to get it really good into the subq area. And this is the part where I have no clue if I had already depressed the plunger a little or not but I removed the syringe to reinsert it at a better angle; when I did, I noticed two drops roll off the syringe and I have no idea what that equates to on her dose. I rechecked the syringe and there was about 1/3 of the dose gone; how much of that 1/3 got into her and how much was in the two drops....dunno. But I did give her the 2/3 that was left and figured if she goes up, I know why. I'm just hoping her depot will carry her over because she's really settling into the dose now. Not sure if the 45 at +5 is depot or if I got in more insulin than I thought.
Thankfully, my jury duty was postponed because I would not have been able to function today in a courtroom but then maybe that would have been a good thing (SEND HER HOME!!) :lol: :lol: :lol: Mike didn't get in until 1:30 a.m. and then he got up for the +10 check so we're both dragging....I see a couple naps in our future today.
