WCR: He's almost acting like he's mildly drunk? I just got home, so will now not only be watching in case he drops too quick, but will also be watching to see if the "drunk symptoms" are really there or if I just caught him coming down from a catnip high. He just ate some and now he's standing in front of the monitor (blocking it) and grooming his adorable little self.

So, grooming himself and blocking the monitor so you give all your attention to him, sounds like he feels okay and normal.
