WCR. She is great. Still the diva of the bounce. Last night she was 100 at PMPS I fed, shot and at +2.5 she was doing her feed me dance, test me mom. I did. it was 25!!!!!! She just loves to shock me. I was hoping to go to bed and she said I don't think so. By +3 she was up to 40 and by +4 she was 58. I left out some MC and we went to bed. She was 215 this morning, I reduced her shot and left lots of food. I had to work today so was gone for 11 hours. Thankful for the timed feeder. I came home to a 140. I'll know in a few hours, hopefully, if she surfed nicely.

Thing have been stressful here but we just keep on trucking. She is still a delight. Constant source of love and amusement. She gives me a kiss on the cheek every time I need to leave her. She gets on the bed and assumes the position and I know. I need to give her a kiss and she returns one. Her latest must do is shred the tissues. If the box is within reach, she pulls them out and shreds them. Makes me think of Black kitty and his shredding paper towels. Old timers will remember those days. It's been very cold for Florida. I complain about 90-95 all the time but 29 is a little extreme. I have a mohair throw that I put on my bed the other night. Tuffy thinks that is the greatest thing since Freeze Dried Chicken treats. She has adopted it. We have an argument about who gets how much every night.

I haven't posted in a while, life has a habit of sometimes been getting in the way. I check daily since I'm up early to see if anyone needs help other than that, my schedule has been pretty full. Sending white light to all that need the vines and thinking of all our recent losses. Sometimes the cycles of life is not exactly what we want but it is what it is. I am thankful for as long as we have them and also for FDMB for making those involved in the sugar dance easier and safer for our special babies. Tuffy has benefited through the knowledge I have gained through this site. Thanks to all. Hang in there. It is what it is and we somehow get through it.

Have a wonderful evening. I'll post another episode in the Adventures of Tuffy in the near future.

I LOVE this cat! The mohair throw being the best thing since freeze dried chicken treats made me giggle!!

I hope you're doing well. That kind of weather is cold no matter where you live so put on an extra pair of socks -- if Tuffy doesn't steal them first.

Hi Barbara!

I see Tuffy is still being Tuffy. The world needs more Tuffys!

I am with Sienne - the mohair throw being the next best thing to kitty treat made me smile too.  She is such a character.

I always thought Mannie was the king of those cliff dives, but Tuffy definitely wins! Now that tissue thing is so Lola... Been giving lessons Tuffy?

THX for posting - it is always such a please to have a Tuffy and Barbara post. Keep on truckin' indeed.

it's so good to see a Tuffy condo. We love our divas, don't we? I'm glad to hear she is keeping you in your place.

Hi Barbara and Tuffy (and the whole gang, especially Khoko),

Ah the bounce champion! Even Rusty has been getting into the bounce act. It must be the latest rage in LL.

So good to see a Tuffy condo and to know how much fun she is having with her new pastimes: the tissues and the mohair throw. It must be the weather!

Keep warm, your weather will be back to normal soon. Here we're supposed to hit -15 tonight!

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Thank you all for visiting. My family is all north now, so It's me and my furbabies and Khoko. I have had some challenges recently, as we all do, and Tuffy has done a good job taking care of me and making sure I rest. It is so funny. If I am tired, she senses it and insists we take a nap. Then she keeps checking on me and I get head butts and kitty kisses on the cheek. One day, I told her if she did not leave me alone and let me rest I would lock her in the bathroom. In true Tuffy form, she smacked me and then laid down. They are all so intuitive to our needs, it really is amazing the whole gang is in the know. She is what she is and always will be that 'special' little lady. Khoko is also very perceptive. He still check my leg from the fall last year. At the barn, Khoko is known as the pied piper of horses. All the wildlife likes him. He has a fox for a friend. He has a very gentle persona for an 1100 lb. baby. LOL

Having lived for 12 years in FL, I have water in my veins now so when it gets cold I feel it but the combination of cold and windy is brutal.

Yes, Tuffy will steal my sweater, sweats, socks, whatever she can get and very proud of herself when she does. If I try and knit, she either steals the yarn ball or swats at the needles. With embroidery, she tries to chew through the threads. Never a dull moment with her.

aw, what a great report! she sounds like my little anya. she's a delicate little norwegian forest cat-type of kitty and she loves yarn too. she "kills" them - she'll drag a sock or glove out from wherever she's found it and with her mouth full of yarn she'll give the "i killed it!" cry. Cracks me up every time. I'll never get a video of it, though, because she drops whatever it is the second she sees you.

you've got quite the angel. i love the stories. what a lucky woman you are!!! :-D
