I won't be able to do a full curve for him until tomorrow. Not really sure what the heck his numbers or doing or why some days he gets some blue preshot readings and others greens. Spreadsheet says .50skinny but its a consistent .25. He ate AMAZING last night and ate up to 1/2 hour before AMPS and ate again right after AMPS (about 1/2 oz at most). 6oz of SK Ocean Whitefish and Tuna. I have to get more T&G at Walmart today.
I have a dentist appointment in the city today to pick up my night guard. My teeth are ground down to dentin. I've made them before but my old dentist didn't care that the night guard caused horrible pain in my jaw. But I'm wishing it will cut down on my headaches. The new dentist said that my night guard should have been "adjusted" if it hurt my jaw. So we'll see. I have to save my teeth. I'll be missing testing Maverick from +5.5 to +7.5.
Off to read my paper and get my second dose in. Then I'll be back to visit condo's before work gets crazy. Happy Thursday.

Maverick is starting off great this morning and glad he has a good appetite. Good luck at the dentist. I can defnitely relate because I also use a nightguard. I think I mentioned before that if the headaches don't go away, try acupuncture. It has helped me tremendously.

Glad others use the nightguard and have had good luck. I'm going to try the head/neck specialist next due to the location of the pain starting at the base of my skull. If that doesn't work I'm going to try acupuncture. Honestly I'd try anything. Just really nervous about them putting a needle in the wrong spot and causing a nightmare with that muscle/nerve.
I HATE the canal LOL. I hate the cold and my feet freeze. My mom loves it and goes on it every week. She said her heaven is the canal. My heaven is a tropical island. It is cool being able to skate all throughout the city including downtown. If I could be in a hot tub, with people pulling me along, I'd love it.
I have to remind myself not to adjust my iphone alarms when I'm so tired I'm trying hard to keep my eyes open. Somehow erased the +4.5 alarm and woke up at almost +7 (ten minutes before that alarm and my dogs heart meds).

As far as the #s & blues & greens, etc.. he is a living, breathing body & stuff just fluctuates in all of us.. now if he were green & then red & then black, etc.. it would be curious, but from blues to greens not all that bad but normal to me.. hang in there!

I don't mind Maverick's greens or blues. He could be 100% blue and I'd love him just the same. Others wanted me to figure out how food affects him and I haven't figured it out. He can eat a ton all the way up to preshot and be green. But withhold food and eating less than normal and he can be blue. Je ne sais pas. So I'm just letting him eat how much he wants when ever he wants and seeing if his numbers cooperate. he's a no drama kitty so no lows, no highs just surfs. Very easy for this bean.

Great number amps today!! You know I free feed & always have, and I have found that Moonie eats when she feels herself hungry, and also she knows when she is going lower & goes to eat--I have watched her & she has her own little mental eating times..She's kind of consistant, my DH & I watch her especially at night--
When she eats very little I know she is going lower, and sometimes she tells me to test her--Pretty smart little kitty!!
BUT she does eat leftover food in the early am, & pm if I dont catch it. That's part of the reason for her higher amps sometimes...I like Moonie to have food available to her, its all she knows.

Maverick, you are doing great this morning. Good luck at the dentist and with the other doctor, too. I've had acupuncture for my neck pain and need to get back and do some more treatments. I think it's a good alternative treatment for a lot of conditions. I bought some patches from the Acupuncturist with capscium in them that help a great deal. That has to be horrible with the pain and migraines.
Now Maverick sweetie give your Bean some good numbers today. Maggie had a lot of fun at the party.

I forgot to tell you guys. Maverick and I went on a trip to the end of the laneway to get the paper this morning. When ever we let the dog out he races to the back door and just looks out the door like he wishes he was out in the cold. And always greets Nike and I when we come back to the house every single morning from getting the paper. I had put Maverick out on the back deck a few weeks back to see what he would think of snow. After 15 seconds he wanted back in. But today I lifted him up and carried him baby style out with me. It was -14Celcius lol. He was content the whole way. Not even a meow. I think he loves the cold, just not the snow.

Maverick looks great today! Love that appetite. And so good in the cold, too. If I tried to carry my cat out the door like that I would get my face clawed. He's rather independent lol!
Good luck with the dentist. I know what you mean, my teeth are a constant thorn in my side and wallet. I had an accident when I was a kid and the damages just keep echoing, it never ends. :evil:

There is actually two Maverick's. The "independent" one pre-feeding tube in July 2008. And the one that loves and trusts me, that likes to be cuddled and have his belly petted. If he didn't look the same you'd swear he was two different cats lol.
Ouch Violet. That doesn't sound fun at all. I hope you have a good dentist (there are definitely good and bad ones for patient care and quality of work).

Yeah for all the blues and greens - and especially the appetite!
Not sure how this figures into your food statistics, but I'm thinking the fishies might have less impact on BG than other flavors, they're typically very low carb.
