I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. It was an OK one here, really didn't do too much, watched some football for a bit, after the shopping and some laundry, all of which I didn't do on Saturday. Other than that, not much on the day here... I spent most of it at home, with a local hike to Meadowdale to add some outdoor time to what was a rather laid back Sunday, a general relaxation recovery time from a busy week with the boys. I went to the shore in the afternoon, between football games, and just took my time getting there, and back. Explored the woods and the shore alot. This is what I wrote last night about the day: "I spent the pre-game time on a walk/trek through the woods to the shore. It sure was quiet down there, no one is out at all. Must be alot of football fans here, and they are glued to their TV's. :-D The fog has more or less lifted here, but it still remains gloomy... no rains, but very overcast. It was a nice hike through, the tides were out, so I was able to go some distance on the shore. I always enjoy that part. It is a nice time: just me and the sounds of the water. I made it back just in time for kick-off. so... guess I had better go be a fan and root for the home team".

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. Bug continues to maneuver Lola into runs and romps. She is quite capable of starting them on her own, but I find it ever so amusing to watch him coerce her into chasing him. Not such an innocent bystander that Mr Bug: Shadow Paw continues to be Shadow Paw. Lola has taken o a new role. She nerve ever sleeps on the bed at night, but the past three nights she has come to the bed when I go to sleep. She will crawl under the covers, curl up next to my tummy, and poke her head out just enough so that you can see her nose. And then she will sleep. She stays about 15 minutes or so, purrs up a storm while there. Bug and Elsa, who are my bed sleepers don't seem to mind her being there. Elsa is within two feet of her, and pays her no mind. Bug who is on the foot of the bed is totally oblivious... WOW on it all, but I really enjoy this new aspect of Miss Lola. Things have been fairly "normal" here. The nanners have been getting workout from Elsa. Mannie would be so proud. I didn't post about it the other day, but 1/18 was 9 months since he crossed to the Bridge. Where does time go. Miss you big guy! and with that: Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. If the weather clears some I may go hiking. :-D

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

How nice to be able to take a walk without a lot of people around. That is sweet Lola is joining you in bed and the other kitties don't mind. It's hard to believe it's been 9 months since Mannie crossed. I don't know where time goes. I think it is always like that when we lose a furbaby. It seems like it's been forever and yet it seems like only yesterday. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Hey Elsa, thanks for the Espressos and cheery pizzas, just hit the spot. Sorry I haven't been around. I have a tempermental computer lately.
Hi Michelle, sounds like a peaceful hike yesterday. Those are neat pics of the sights.
So neat that all three sleep in bed with you. Katie also likes to get under the covers with me, sometimes to wake me up though more than sleep. I'm thinking of buying one of those Cat's meow toys for her. Do you have one, by any chance.

Have a great day and hope the weather is better for a shore walk/hike. Scritches and huga from us.

Yesterday sounded nice and relaxing. I envy how close you are to the shore! We're "close", relatively speaking, but it's still about a 45 minute drive, so we can't just bop on over there for a quick walk.

I love that Lola is snuggling with you at night, now, too! How sweet!!!! What a wonderful little crew you have.

I hope you got a hike in today...have a great evening, Michelle!

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I spent mine working on some cleanup stuff, resolving and wrapping up the medical insurance "stuff", what a pain that was, and getting some cleaning finished. By noon the sun was out, and I decided it was time to hit the trials, and enjoy what was a great afternoon. it was so nice to have the sun h show, after several foggy days. The tides were low too, so I was able to walk some distance at the shore. It tuned out to be a great way to spend the afternoon. Of course I took an overload of photos, and I will post them in tomorrows condo. Have a great evening everyone!

Hi Carla - It was nice - every now and then the trails here to the shore is deserted, especially early in the day. I love that time. Agreed alot on Lola- she hasn't missed a night in a few days now. I sure hope it continues! Oh yes on Mannie.... been along time, yet is still seems like yesterday. so so true!

Hi Ann - How are you? I so hope things are going well with you and Katie. I think of you often. Bummer on your computer! never helps when that happens. It was a great hike yesterday - I really enjoyed it, Today was good too. YAY! Katie is an under the covers kitty too! Lola is the first that I have had that will even try that. oh - no on the cats meow toys, I don't. Hmmmm.... maybe that would be good for Lola. :-D THX on today - it was great!
Auntie Ann! YAY! They were good then. I hope your neighbors liked them too. You guys are the best! ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Amy - It was, and yes - I am spoiled! it is a 1.5, maybe 2.0 mile walk through the woods to the shore. I am very lucky that it is so close. Me too on Lola, this is new for her, but I sure do like it. Snuggly kitties all around at nght time, and for the most part they behave themselves! THX on today - I did get out, sure was nice to have that sunshine!

Read your condo every day. Love to hear of the kitty antics and also about the 'boys'. You certainly have done well exposing them to so much. The pics and videos are great. A bright spot in my day. Looks like William will be following in N's footsteps with the water. I also hope you come up with a solution to keep LOLA off the power strip for the puter. LOL Thanks for all the laughs and adventures with the boys.

Hi Michelle,
How sweet that all kitties have been sleeping with you! I always felt bad that Cleo slept alone in the spare room, while the civies slept with me. But, recently civies started sleeping in spare room with Cleo, and after a few night of that, Cleo moved into DGS room   She really wants to be alone
Hope you were able to get a hike in!

Hi Michelle,
Sounds like you are having a nice, relaxing long weekend. The walk this afternoon in sunshine must have been a welcome change. I remember Seattle being a big football town in the 1960s. My landlady was a huge Washington Huskies fan and every night at dinner (it was a boarding house) we had to watch highlights of the latest Huskies game while we ate on TV trays in the livingroom.

Neat that Lola has discovered that snuggling in the bed is something she enjoys.

Elsa, we really enjoyed the ~O) this morning. it's very cold here!

Have a good evening,

Ella & Rusty

Hello Michelle. Vancouver has turned into a suburb of Seattle lately - I've seen Seahawks shirts and hats pop up everywhere. :-D I imagine there was a certain amount of excitement at your house yesterday. The local sports bars here were packed and turning them away yesterday.

I'm glad the fog lifted at your place today. It was really hanging around the lower areas around here too but also lifted this afternoon. The water was beautiful here too.

So cute on Lola and the sleeping under covers. My civie Theo likes to do that too. It's really hard to sleep with them like that but so sweet. :-D

I had just typed this nice response to everyone and the damn windows thing shut me down,. ARGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Lost the whole bloody post! So..... here we go again, the abbreviated version! ;-)

Hi Barbara - Thanks for all, and your comments. Those boys are indeed a bright spot in my life too. it is so fun to be able to take them paces, let them explore, learn , have fun, and just be boys.... SO TRUE on William! so far he loves it too! oh yes on the Lola thing!

Hi Jane - that is too funny on Cleo! I guess she does want to be alone! Elsa can be like that for the most part. it is interesting that she will stay when Lola moves up to where she is sleeping.  THX on today - I did get out for a hike, though local. still good though!

Hi Ella - Yes, it was a great weekend, and a bigger yes on that sunshine. That felt great! that is too funny on your landlord! omg - a 100% husky fan! so agreed on Lola, I like ths pot she has picked: right near my tummy.
Auntie Ella - YAY! I am so glad it warmed you guys up.I hear it will be even colder tonight.... you guys wants some cocoa? ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Wendy - ity is so great to hear from you. I am sorry I keep missing your posts, there just isn't enough time in the day. I have managed to read the subject lines though, and I hope Neko continues to do well. I can imagine how Vancouver has turned into a suburb of Seattle. Love that shirts and caps are to be found up your way. oh yes, things were a tad bit crazy here - the city was on overload, sports bars and restaurants all maxed out from early morning to well into the evening. yes, we finally got rid of all that fog!!!! YAY! I am glad that you guys got rid of yours too. oh yes on Lola, and the being hard to sleep with them plastered all over you. Lola only stays for maybe 15 minutes, Bug maybe 30, but Elsa is there for the duration. crazy!

Hey Lil Bit,

It's been some time since we talked. I'm glad to see how well you and the young uns are doing...did you see that I got a couple of young uns too. I hope one day they will become friends with you and maybe they can apprentice with you and you can teach them how to become a full fledged Kitteh Barista Pilot! Now, if only I knew their names, then I could tell you!

Signed, Maui the Magnificent's Bean

Auntie Hillary! I DID! My bean showed me a photo of your new younguns. They is mega cool. Can I comes and visit? And plays with them? I would love to show them the ropes. woot! Future co-pilots! oooooooo..... we gots to get them names.... ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, aka KBP
