Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) another day of my boy starting out high sigh.... Bean is mega frustrated hope he can respond to the insulin soon and start to creep back down right now I would be happy for staying pink never thought I would say that but jeez its better then 400s and 500. You can tell he does not feel well he is stil better then he was this time last week but I think our road to feeling good is going to be longer then I had expected. He did eat his breffis of merricks so that was good still insisting on going to bath and wanting me to turn water on to drink we shall humor this habit until he is is feeling good again but then Bean would prefer to not get up in night to let him go off to bath to drink :roll: gotta love my boy though :cool: :cool: :cool: he did poo in night and its starting to look almost normal so that is good :smile:

Every little improvement is a step in the right direction. Do Lou, you can start to bring that AMPS number down now. Your mamabean would like to see you in healing numbers very soon.

Lisa, I can feel how frustrating this episode is for you. But he does sound better than last week. Interesting about the attraction of the water from the bathtub tap. Is it on a different line? Maybe there is something in the pipes that makes it taste better. Maybe he needs a new fountain to entice him away from the tub?

Morning Lisa. I hope things get better for Do Lou soon. I can so relate what you are going through.. it is the same here for Mannie. It's been a rough road too, and we do what we can. It is the same with me - any ittle improvement is a step towards recovery. Mannie and I send many many healing vines.

Hi Ella no water from tub is all the same and I change his fountain daily othe then tub is of course more a stream and his fountain is this kind

so I am thinking about getting one of these since the water is more like coming from the faucet he also had a pioneer cermanic one at one time and he hated that one.

And part of the problem is DH is really not kean on the sound of water flowing in bedroom which is why I bought the quieter one I have but if DL does not use it then I need to find one he likes so Mama Bean does not keep getting up to let him drink from tub

Morning Lisa, nice climb down to pink! Do Lou heard his Mom! :-D I fondly remember my GA boy kitty loving to drink from the bathtub faucet, too! Checkers is a sink drinker :lol: so Do Lou has company. Sending healing vines to sweet Do Lou, and agree this week does seem better. Hugs to both of you.

Lisa, I'm so sorry DL is still not feeling that well, but like everyone else said, one step at a time. I know how frustrating it must be to see those high numbers, but he is coming down nicely today.

Tell DH that the sound of running water is supposed to be very soothing and healing. Definitely better than you having to get up in the middle of the night. :smile:

pmps 328 ate dinner :mrgreen: and trip to tub to drink :roll: at least the BG is better then yesterday or this morning so we shall take it :-D

Noni is doing exactly the same with the bath thing. I found her laying all over the shower yesterday after my sister accidentally left the door open after taking a shower so she was all wet and I had to dry her ! same with the numbers too she is taking longer time to come down , but thank god ! she was in the black zone for some time. now we are in pink so keep hope.

Well Bean has ordered a new drinking fountain one that is more flowing like a faucet so hopefully we will not have to go to the tub anymore after it comes in we shall see but that aside thank you all for the vines and support it means sooooooooooooo much to us (((((((((love you guys))))))) no doubt in my mind that this board helps to heal :cool:
 
ah Do Lou.... wrong way buddy, turn around 'K? I think our boys have something up their sleeves, perhaps a boys night out. Mannie just did the same thing, from a 316 to a 438. go figure....
