Hi everyone!Today is a big day for both me and Soc,since I finally got the time to do a curve,or at least try to...So far ,things are going as planned.We only had to skip +6 as I was out for a while.I also checked for ketones in the urine and was negative!He is on Lantus 0,75 for almost a week. Do you think I should increase to 1 u?
I am very worried because even though his BG is lower than before,he isn't gaining weight...The doctor would check for hyperthyroidism,but we have been more than 15 days waiting for the results due to the holiday season...

Thanks! I will do it from tomorrow morning! From you experience,is it ever possible to regain some weight being diabetic? He was once 8.5 kg and now he must be 5.5 or less

Once regulated he will gain weight. We see this all the time. Right now you need to feed him as much as he wants so he doesn’t lose more weight. Max had the opposite problem on insulin and gained weight. I caught him right when he became diabetic though.
