Good morning all,

Watching Miss Shasta inhale her breffis...no complaints from me! Ok, only complaint...she woke me up at +11 because she was hungry. grr_red She's still walking like a cowgirl, but it's slightly more normal than yesterday. She just took a break from her breffis to go potty. I love routine! She's back now to eat more breffis and I swear she just snorted!!! :lol:

She's still recovering from vet visit, so I'm not getting many cuddles...which means I'm not getting much in the way of purrs. She did play just a bit last night. Pee & poop in LB, last night. And she's now working on the preening part.

What a nice start to the day! I hope Shasta surfs that nicely for you. Maybe a little green today? It's cute to hear Shasta has a morning routine. They do seems to know EXACTLY how they want the world to run :lol: Have a wonderful day with lots of purrs and cuddles mary and oliver

so agreed on the morning routine. change one little thing and they let you know how displeased they are. I like the appy part today too. It is always good when they decide food is their friend. Nice on the play and preen. I bet the cuddles and purrs return, once she gets over the vetty visit. Mannie will do that too. Have a great day today. Ok, I have a few concerns and I thought I'd throw it out to you wise people (as well as I'm emailing my vet).

#1 I THINK Shasta may have swallowed two small pieces of ribbon (about 2 inches each). I keep trying to tell myself that she didn't eat them and honestly, I'm not 100% sure that she did eat them. I checked her mouth, put my finger kind of down her throat...nothing. I've given her petroleum jelly and now I'm just waiting and checking the litter box. Any advice?!

#2 I found something on one of her teeth (see picture) and I don't know what I'm looking at. Any thoughts?

p.s. This is the extent of Shasta's play on her new cat condo...

The photo might be a resorptive lesion. See this link. Look at the xray almost all the way at the end.

Wow, how did you take that picture of her teeth? I think she looks like the queen in her castle. She has definitely taken ownership Maybe she has a green lagoon around the castle? How about a dip, Shasta?

Hope The ribbon is not in Shasta!!!! You are getting like all of us watching and worrying!!

But ou do love her & I appreciate your concerns..Hope you find the ribbon outside of the kitty!
Her numbers look really good, amybe you will see some green tonite or tomorrow..
Shasta looks like Moonie's brother Copper(GA), who had the same markings with Copper color eyes..
Love those black & whites, soooo sweet~!!

Thank you, Sienne. I just emailed my vet the picture and will hopefully hear back from him in the morning. Other then her hissing at the vet, he can't see inside her mouth. So, I have a feeling that this will require her being anesthetized and thoroughly looked at. Another source of worry for me. Thank you, again!

Hi Liz, did I mention that that is the only thing she does on her new kitty condo...sit on the floor area?! I have to pick her up and put her on the levels (she can jump up to the lower level...she just chooses not to.) Right now, she is resting in my lap. I'm afraid she's just not that into it! :roll: No greens tonight (at least none that I caught!), but some pretty blues.

Hi Roni, I'm sorry to get everyone worrying. It's what I seem to do best these days. These black and white kitties sure are loves! Hoping I was just seeing things today when I thought I saw two ribbons...and then didn't see them. :YMSIGH: She's eating, peeing, a little playing, a little preening and a few purrs...so it sure would be nice to have the poop to put my mind at ease.
