Yesterday was.... bounce day in MannieLand. I knew it was coming... they always do after a great cycle with greens in them. Mr Liver still needs to exercise his authority, and so he did. I just wish it hadn't been as high as it was.... way up in the stratosphere. :roll: He did start to head down with the PM cycle, so all crossed that it will be a better day today. Right Mannie? Think blue, think green, 'K? Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Yesterday we packed up the holiday. Took all down, put it in the boxes, returned the tree to it's box too. It was an interesting year for Mannie and that tree. It is one of this favorite places to hangout. This year it was sporadic. Not too sure why. He watched diligently yesterday as I packed up ornaments, and eventually the tree. Once done he was off to his bed. :lol: No big deal this year. The lure on the nanners in his bed won out. shesshhh! :lol: :lol: We had sun yesterday!! It was cold, 31 to start, but what a nice day it turned out to be. The kitties all found those sunbeams that showed up early in the afternoon. Mannie was one happy dude: I could have sworn I heard purring! He has always loved to sunbathe. I spent some time the other day remembering BJ, who crossed to the bridge just over a year ago on 12/30. What a character she was: the kitty choir, whack-a-thon cheerleader, fuds stealer, purr machine. We used to call her Baby Girl - that she was. Well anyways - it was nice to think back on all that was. This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club (YUM!, and YAY!), purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty for the remainder of the week. Today will be a swim day for Nicholas ( I hope - once I see how his cold is), and then hopefully we can find a nice outdoor spot. I am not too sure at this point if that will be doable or not. I need to get him to his mom's early as he has his 2YR DR check-up today. We will try the pool, and then let the day evolve for him. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here.. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

Hey everybody! What's up? Beach volleyball was so awesome yesterday. :-D I like Maggie's place, and the boardwalk and all the fuds places... mega cool! I was thinkin'.... Auntie Linda Bean is visiting Auntie Ella Bean, and I thought it would be cool to go an visit! Maybe hangout on the radiators there for a while. I think it is mega cold there, so indoors for sure. I don't wanna be an icicle, ya know? What do you guys think? You wanna go? Let me know, I am ready for anything. ~~ Mannie

Hey Mannie,

It's a new year, so how about you change from being a rainbow kitteh to a turquoise grotto blue manchu kitteh instead. Doesn't that sound like fun. Blue Manchu. I think you would like it and once you realize how fun it is, you can become the Green Manet! Which is even funner. And do you know what you can win if you stay that way....you get to win your very own condo at the Falls! You can decorate it however you like, throw parties every day and night, become the Famous Falls Chef and have cooking classes and demos! No beans telling you what you can and cannot do or eat! And bestest of all no more pokies or stickies! Doesn't that sound like fun. How about you and Leo make a pact to see who can get to the grotto first and stay there the longest.

and it is cold out today, so inside and warm is a great idea. Ooooh and I found some nip so I've got some yummy hot nip-cocoa with lots of whip cream for everyone!

Mannie, dude, my bean is givin me the goofy sideways eye after she looks at the meter thing. she said i could go hang by you kitties at the radiators and enjoy myself... yahoo!!! I gots smoked salmon, cream cheese, and all the go with its in my backpack. i'm on my way... oliver

Morning Michelle and hope Mannie breaks the bounce today with some nice blues and safe greens. Oh my, is it a year already for sweet Elsa. I so fondly remember her whackathons and cheerleader personality, what a sweet kitty, We never stop missing them and hold the memories close to us. I hope the day is nice for you and DGS and sunny, too. We have sun but cool temps. Have a great day with DGS and always look forward to pics and videos.

hey thx on BJ - had her along time, always hard when it is time for them to leave us. It is hard to believe that it has been a year. She was for sure the ring-leader around here. and thx - starting to feel better! YAY!

It never seems like they have been gone so long, because they are always here with us. Tess wants to know if she should stop by on the way home and cuddle in your lap. She says lap purrs are the bestest for sad times.

Yo Mannie, I'm so glad you and the gang came over today. We gave Auntie LindaBean a good send-off and then those radiators were a great place to hang out. It's gonna be -15 tonight, so let's make some hot tuna toddies. Glad to see you're coming down from that red!

Hi Michelle, I hope that you and Nicholas are both over your colds (or that the colds are at least near their end). What a drag to be sick for the holidays! We all remember BJ with such fondness. She was one fine kitty.
Have a good evening and get some rest. It seems like you just put up all the Xmas decorations and now they are down. Our's are on a different schedule: they will come down on 3-Kings' Day (Jan. 6th).

Seems I'm repeating what everyone else said. It doesn't seem like a year has gone by, since BJ left us without a kitty chorus and wackathons. She was one entertaining little kitty, even from the other side of the country :-D
I'm glad you and Nicholas are getting over those awful colds. We shouldn't hafta get sick at the holidays.

I'm with Mary.....when you figure out Mannie's bounces, will you fill me in? I'll try what works for you :lol:

180 @ PMPS. NICE! And way to go Mannie. :-D Appy was a bit off tonight - it's like he knows there are things hidden in his fuds, and doesn't want to eat it. When I open a fresh can, more often than not it is good to go. Mannie.... you need your meds!

Hi Ella - we are getting there - in the residual cough phase now.. I hate that part: cough cough cough cough! He was well enough to go to the pool today, so we did. Not as long as normal, he did tire easily, but still fun for him. hey - THX on BJ, She was one of a ind, that ias for sure. I used to love to write about the stuff she pull. :lol: and i know on the XMas decor - seems like that was a vision long gone, and it was just a couple of days ago! What an interesting day for Mannie. Was this in his playbook? Sometimes Neko's liver decides to remember again about low numbers and does a second bounce. Time to settle it down Mannie, although it is nice to let your bean catch up on her sleep to try to get rid of the lingering cough. I hope you feel better soon Michelle. We had a sunny day and are expecting nice weather again tomorrow before the drips start again.

I'm sorry about your Baby Girl. It's always great but sad to remember what characters they were. Maybe Mannie or Elsa will grace your lap in her memory.
 
Hi Wendy - THX on my BJ. It is great to remember - she was one fine kitty! Mannie is Mannie,.... this morning is awful, I hope he can slide down from that gracefully.... I am glad though that he let me sleep.... now to get this back on track - Mannie will often do those second bonces too. SUn here too - expect more today. YAY!!
