Morning ~O) I'm starting Maggie's condo a little early as we have an 8 am Vetty visit for b/w, urinalysis and b/p. I think this is the Vet Tech who will take care of Mags, as she just had an exam four weeks ago. The Vet is monitoring closely, as her renal values have risen with her CRD. Thank goodness her diabetes is somewhat stabilized, and poo, too. No poo yet though, Detective Poo, but stay tuned! :cool:
Bad Bean, as I normally get a +3 at the pm cycle but was so tired, so I just placed a pile of food on her overnight plate, knowing she would eat if low. I am very fortunate she will eat. One of my weekly drugs for RA always throws me for a loop for a day, and then next day I feel better. I took it a day late, as I wanted to enjoy a glass of vino NYE! :-D All is well with Mags; she was so playful shortly after I went to bed, dragging her mouse pole toy beside my bed, chatting away. I picked up both Mr. Mouse toy and Mags and took her to bed. I'm happy she's this playful even if it does disturb Bean's sleep. Mannie will always be there for me with coffee, ~O) ~O) thank you my favorite Barista.

Have a nice day. Yikes, can you believe TWC says it's only 40 degrees here. I think I'll warm up the car when it's time to depart for Vetty and then return for Mags so she doesn't get too chilly.

Morning Ann. Hope Maggie's vetty visit goes well today... Def need to warm up the car first :smile: Us too, it is only 10 here.... Brrrr. You are so lucky that Maggie will eat if she goes low, I fed Zeus last night at +5, he didn't finish the fuds, and even when he dipped to 30 he didn't eat until I placed the HC in front of him.

Ann, I hope everything goes well at the vet's office and yes, please let me know what they say about the asthma.

I hope you are feeling better today and got lots of sleep yesterday. It is great that Maggie is like Simon and will eat everything we put in front of them. Makes it less stressful when we can't always check on them.

You are a good mama, mamabean need to rest sometimes, I'm sure sugar kitties understand and don't mind.

Maggie's numbers are looking good and a great BG to start the day :smile: Hope the vet visit goes well and Maggie's not too stressed. I'm sure she will appreciate the warm car!

That's cute Maggie wanted to play with you and brought her mouse pole toy to your bed last night. I hope everything goes well at the vet today and you get good test results.

What a great day yesterday for Maggie - all that green. She really is doing well! I've done that to with the fuds when I just can't stay up.... it works, and they recover soon enough. :-D

only 40?? BRRRRR! We are 31, even more BRRRR! Maggie says thank you for warming up the car...

Almost a green! I think Mahs suspects something is up, as she opens one eye every time I cross the bedroom into the bathroom. :lol: I hid the carrier.

Hi Kathie, oh wow on the 10 degrees. I will say no more on our 40 degrees. I think Zeus knew you might bring out the HC. :lol: They are too smart!

Hi Georgia, I am so glad Simon will also eat when low. We are lucky as I know it is not the same with all kitties. Yes, I'll sure let you know on Mags. Right now the Vet is just monitoring it. Knock on wood, I haven't noticed as much congestion.

Thank you Molly for the Vetty vines. Mags seems calm at the Vet, but first thing she does when taken from the carrier is to look for it. I always shove it under the table, and she almost falls over the exam table looking for it. :lol: Poor baby. She does relax shortly though as the Vet and Vet Techs are so wonderful.

Thanks Carla, the mouse pole toy is her favorite toy. She's had it forever. I hope, too, she doesn't get too stressed.

Hi Michelle, just saw you up there, as we were posting same time. Thanks on the Vetty vines. I'll get her b/w results tomorrow. Yes, sometimes we just have to do the best we can with their pokes and knowing they will eat. On warming up the car, yes, says Mags :-D

Hi, we're back from Vetty already. It was a Vet Technician drawing blood and urine, and the Vet always calls me on the results next day and sends an E-mail. Mags is really giving me a hard time chatting away and asking for food immediately! :lol:

Thanks Amy on her surf and vines. I haven't yet taken her bp but suspect it is high from Vet stess and just munching now. She's also saying how chilly it is outside. :lol: I turned the space heater on for her.

Thanks Mary and Ollie. She was easy to place in the carrier and was good in the car. Her Vet tech said she just watched everything they did, so very easy kitty. She's sitting in front of the heater. It is cold outside for us.

Thanks Michelle & Scrabble. I think we won't see any green this morning with Vetty stress.

Nice! :-D I guess she wasn't as stressed as I thought. I think with meter variance we can call it a green. I'm going to run out and do some errands and will leave Mags some food.

Hi Barb & Checkers, she did well and surprised me with no rise in her bg today from Vetty stress!

Hi John, yes, I am really lucky as she's so good at the Vet and doesn't fight them. She even lets them clip her nails. I've never tried to trim them myself.

Hi Ann & Tess, I will get the results tomorrow. I've adjusted her insulin over time with the higher carb/low phosphorus food, and Mags has adapted well, anti-jynx. It did bring her phosphorus and BUN down, but I don't know if the creatinine can change. She still gets some Wellness Turkey, and I'd like to try a little raw .
