Happy Monday!!! Tons and tons of healing vines and prayers for Calley and Skinky and eating vines for Minka and Sasha. Also vines for Blackie, Shasta, and any others who aren't feeling great or have an infection.

And back to normal....it's Lupita Friday!!!! LBG was on the end bar stool when Lupita came in this morning. As soon as Lupita walked next to the bar stool, Gracie got up and moved two bar stools over but....didn't hiss! Lupita stood there and talked to her and then told me, "she said her New Year's resolution is to like me and be friends". I looked at Gracie, she looked at Lupita, and as if to refute what Lupita said....hhisssssssssssss!!! Then she jumped down the other way, walked past Lupita, turned around and did her best Halloween kitty, no hiss, and sashayed off. However, looks like she let Lupita pick her up and pose for a New Year selfie!


Don't post that, Mom!! My frens will think I like her and I just thought I'd be nice once for the New Year!

We're hoping numbers will continue to be a little less wonky now that we started the new pen. Also hope the cold weather doesn't throw off how well she is doing (major anti jinx).

It's freezing here but we have errands to run and then we are meeting friends for an early dinner. Have a great day!!
 
Oh how nice of LBG to pose, just once, for a selfie with Lupita. Don't worry Gracie, no one will think that you've suddenly become a Lupita-lover. ;)

Very nice run in greens for LBG! Fingers and toes crossed that Ms. "L" will remain quiet and allow Gracie to continue running in blues and greens.
 
:joyful::joyful::joyful:....I love Lupita's sense of humor about Gracie's opinion of her. Many others would have their confidence shattered! Tm to turn it back around, Gracie!
 
Wow!!!! Gracie let Lupita hold her and Lupita still has her eyes! :woot:I bet holding Gracie on New Year's day is as lucky as eating black eyed peas.

Hmmm, I am cornfused--it there is Lupita, isn't it Friday??

What a beautiful cycle for LBG, last night as well! A fantastic start to the year and as always, hysterical recap of Lupita Friday that I always look forward to! Have a great night Marje, hope your feeling better! :bighug:
 
The look on Gracie's face says it all: "Help, I'm being forced to pose for a selfie with my arch enemy! But I shall not surrender!" And Lupita looks so triumphant! LOVE IT!!! :joyful:
 
Lupita is one very brave lady. I don't think I'd be game enough to hold a kitty that hissed at me that close to my face!!! That probably confused Gracie just long enough for Lupita to get that snap - is there an after photo that looks something like this :blackeye: - but with blood!!!
 
I think I might have been calling Lupita Marje in my posts :). Anyway cute photo and Happy New Year and good health to all of you and everyone on the board too.
