Champ has been doing pretty well. He still feels the need to show his pink side every once in a while, but it's getting better. He's been eating well and the LB action is completely normal. And...he's still sleeping with me!! My daughter feels abandoned, but you win some and you lose some!! :lol:

I was so sick over the last two days. I only had to work a half day on Tuesday and I wrapped myself up in blankets and proceeded to nap and watch TV on and off for the rest of the day, went to bed early, and then spent all day yesterday napping. I still had no problem going to bed last night and falling right to sleep!! It must have done me good, though, because I feel much better today. I still have a nasty cough and lots of nose-blowing, but at least I feel much better. I haven't been sick in a few years and now I've caught something from my daughter twice in one month. I finally figured out how this happened....when I test Champ, I put his meter in my mouth to hold it while I poke him. My daughter seldom tests him, but when she does, she also puts the meter in her mouth. :? I love my daughter, but not enough to swap germs :roll:

I've got to get back to work. I'll be visiting condos here and there throughout the day. I sure hope everyone is having a great start to their new year!!

That's a nice AMPS for Champ, and so wonderful he is feeling so well :-D I used to chew on pens, not meters :lol: I hope you're feeling better soon!

I was wondering where you had gone too. I'm so sorry you've been icky. Did you take in some football while cuddled under the blanky? It's nice to hear that you are feeling much better today.. :smile: Got a little chuckle on loving your kid but not "germ swapping". Champ is having wonderful numbers, that just makes my heart happy to also know he's still snuggling with you.

Very nice start for Champ, and I love that he's sleeping with his MamaBean these days! I'm sure he'll visit Danielle from time-to-time, too. I hope you kick the bug - it's really running around LL these days. Have a great evening, Patty!

Nice numbers for Champ, but sorry that you are down w/ the crud! Hmmmmmmm, I hold the lancet cap in my mouth. At least that's a one time use! Feel better soon.
 
Oh My Lanta!!! What is it with Champ and his pink PMPS? First it was consistent pink AMPS'; now it's consistent pink PMPS'. I just bought a new pen today so I'm going to start that in the morning. I'll give it through the weekend to see how his numbers are and then, if I see pink, up he goes!! No more dilly-dallying around!!

I had to go to the vet today's to get them to rewrite Champ's prescription. He always writes it "take as directed" or with no dose on it and the pharmacies this time around just wouldn't take it. The K-Mart I used to buy one pen at a time was still willing to break a box for me and that lovely coupon from the Lantus website worked beautifully. One Lantus pen for $25 is an awesome thing!!! So, no more pink, Mr. Champers, or it's extra juice for you!!
 
Oh, Champ, come down from there. Zener is on his way with the ropes to pull you down. Poor Danielle, maybe Champ will feel sorry for her. :lol: I hope you're feeling better soon, Patty. This is sure a nasty bug. :-x :-x
