Good morning everyone!

I have dreaded this anniversary of the loss of my soulmate Homie (GA) for most of the year...thinking it would be quite the melancholy day.
But woke this morning (an hour late for binks shot, btw)...and realized that in the 17 years i was privileged to share my life with that unequaled, irrepressible spirit...i can't recall a single day that he was crabby or sad. So Binks and i have decided today will be a celebration of love shared rather than sorrow at loss.

We miss you unbelievably, Homieman...but are honoring your memory by recalling the joy, humor, and limitless love you blessed us with!

3 p's so far for the Binkster...the LB has yet to be visited...

Celi, that is a beautiful sentiment. You are indeed honoring Homie's memory. Sweet sweet memories, for you today.

Well I think that is how we all think of you too Celi.
You are an inspiration to us all by giving us an endless supply of smiles and goodwill.

What a sweet post this morning, Celi. It can be hard to celebrate when you're sad, but Homie is with you in spirit. What a great mousie pic! :lol: Let's see some more green, Binks! :mrgreen:

What a great way to look at things, Celi! Homie, I'm sure, is pleased with the way you are celebrating the anniversery.

CD said what I was thinking....you are an unfailingly positive influence here, Celi. I think your celebration of love shared is a lovely and fitting way to mark the anniversary.

Binksy is looking very dapper in green today....surfing right there would be great!

That is a wonderful way to put a positive spin on what could be a sad day. Thinking of you and Homie today...and of course Binks. Oh, and Annie and Smudge too. Are they participating in the celebration?

road and celebrated the long and wonderful life of a beloved spirit; you know in your heart that Homie is with you always because you have chosen
to keep him there. Even though I am getting to your condo late today, I wish you peace. Thank you for all you have brought to LL and to Mike, Gracie, and me.

Memories like these are always bittersweet. We mourn the loss but celebrate the life and all of the wonderful things we miss. What a lovely way to honor a beloved friend.

i didn't really mean to turn Binks' condo into a tribute to his best pal...but he doesn't seem to mind.
He's a little preoccupied cause he got a swat in the face from Smudge...his eye is a tiny bit bothered (checked it pretty thoroughly and it doesnt seem injured)...but i corralled the girls before he could take a good whack in revenge. He is currently trading insults with them under the bedroom door :lol:

Great choice to celebrate Homie's life and love versus the alternative. ((Celi)) Still, I know it's tough. Glad you've got plenty going on kitty-wise to keep your mind occupied and focused on the good times you had. Nice pmps for Binks in Homie's honor.
