Good Morning, Everyone,

Cold and clear this morning, -6 degrees, but expected to get up to the low 20s. We're going snowshoeing with friends later this morning and will be back in the early afternoon. Rusty will have his automat serve his lunch!

Rusty had a good night, a good test and breakfast. I'm not so sure about the accuracy of the shot (but it went in!). I think the Monoject syringe was a little off the mark. It's from a new box that I got from Hocks last week because the Monojects at ADW were on back order. The ADW boxes arrived the other day, so later I'm going to compare lot numbers.

Sending lots of healing vines and positive thoughts to Sid today. And to all kitties and beans who are not feeling well.

Everyone have a good day. I'm remembering my mother today on her 114th birthday!! She was a friend to all animals.

I hope the shot did what was required. Meters, syringes; can't we count on any medical supplies to be accurate!

You learned the love of animals from you mom. What a lovely legacy.

Have a wonderful day,

I ran into the same thing with the monojets from ADW. So unusual on the backorder - they arrived two days later, after the rest of the shipment of strips, etc.

Have a great day today. Rusty be good, and remember to eat your lunch from the feeder.

Re: 1/19 Rusty AMPS 85

Nice start for Rusty. On the Monojects I get from ADW, sometimes the plunger runs a little over the top line. For instance, when the plunger is on the top line, there are still three drops in the syringe. Not sure if I'm making sense, but Marje has had similar problem with variance in lines. It all works out though with just inspecting each one.
Enjoy your snowshoe walk today with friends. Sounds like fun. Happy Birthday to your Mom.

This is a good date for a birthday. Mine was yesterday :-D
Your mother must have been remarkable to have raised such a strong and talented daughter. I was very honoured to be able to view her art work when I visited you.
If you want snow, come up here! For me, it looks like a good afternoon to curl up with Pinky and a good Algebra book.

Hi again, everyone,

Our snowshoe was fine, even though there wasn't much snow and what there was was icy. But my new snowshoes are excellent, so it was a good shakedown hike. We had lovely sunshine and it didn't seem as cold as it was! Tomorrow a ski is scheduled and we're supposed to get a little snow tonight, so I hope it will be possible to ski that particular trail. I would not have wanted to ski on the trail we were on today.

Rusty surfed along in green all afternoon. He was happy to see us and had eaten most of his automat lunch (saved some, as he always does when we go out, just to be on the safe side!).

Thanks to you all for your nice words about my mom. She was really neat. Hey Linda! Happy Birthday to you, too. I hope you had fun on your big day and didn't spend all of it studying!!

Got to go make supper now. bbl to visit condos.

Re: 1/19 Rusty AMPS 85, +7 62, +9.75 61

yes I almost ran out of syringes with the monojects being on B/O and them not telling me so they sent another brand which I hate cat(2)_steam the plunger is so fat the last couple of days since I have been using them its so hard to micro dose I cannot tell if its 6.25 vs 6.5 really so I placed another order with ADW for the monojects yesterday sigh... but Rusty is sure looking super :-D glad you had a super day snowshoeing

Re: 1/19 Rusty AMPS 85, +7 62, +9.75 61, PMPS 89

Hi again,
There must have been a run on Monojects for everyone to get them on backorder. ADW did call me to tell me that the Monojects were on back order and asked if I wanted a substitute syringe (this was about 3 weeks ago, when I placed my order for the Monojects and some other things). I said no, just to send them when they had them and to send the rest of the order without the syringes. Anyway, it could be related to the problems some people were having with a particular lot of Monojects. I was still working on a box I had since the early fall, and the syringes were fine. But this new box I got from Hocks has had a couple in it (so far) that are not entirely accurate. ADW may have sent back all their boxes to the manufacturer and exchanged them, hence the delay. The lot number on the new ADW boxes is not the same as the lot number on the box I got from Hocks.
