Yesterday Neko held onto blues during the day, but at night, the bounce won the battle. :roll:

Another sunny start for Neko, matching the sunshine outside. She's currently inside, but I'm betting she'll head to the solarium soon as it's starting to warm up. She did do a couple of quick deck patrols this morning. Lately Neko's trips outside mostly consist of surveying her domain from the deck. But it's a large deck, so she can keep an eye of things from there. :lol:

Mariko (Lucy) is coming to visit today. I'm looking forward to meeting a fellow Vancouver FDMB'er and I hope the fur kitties will be good and come out to say hello. Neko probably will.

I might spend some time in the garden later today. Spring is coming. The pieris japonica is starting to bloom and it's time to clean up the ravages of winter. Sometimes Neko likes to come out to supervise my work. I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.

I'm so jealous! We have snow on the ground and it's below freezing outside. They say the polar vortex may return next week with below zero Fahrenheit temps!

I hope the solarium is nice and warm for Neko. Enjoy your visit with Mariko!

Clean up after winter? That doesn't start till April or May :lol: :lol: I'm hoping Neko can show you some sliding skills today, but not too far, so you don't have to do pokeys the whole time Mariko is there! I hope you guys have a nice visit

Seems like Neko has a thing for pink when visitors are here. :roll: She was pink for Mariko's visit today, and Liz's visit in June. :YMSIGH: She was a good girl and came out to say hello, and hung out in the sunny solarium for a while. Of course, FD chicken helped. :lol: The beans had a good visit. Theo hung out in the back bedroom as I expected he would. Mariko brought some catnip toys which will probably get played with when the kitties have relaxed a bit.

I didn't get to the garden, maybe tomorrow. It's not going anywhere. :lol:

@Nancy - I think this is a slightly warmer January, normally I don't see the blooms until February. But it was warm and sunny for Neko in the solarium.

@Carla - Sliding later in the cycle, just hope she keeps on sliding to PMPS. Never know with her though. :roll: At least Neko came out to say hello and Mariko did see Theo before he scuttled off to the back bedroom. :lol:

@Rachel - Spring starts a bit earlier here. It's still really winter, but occasionally we get warm sunny days that feel like spring. Neko kindly soared to pink so I didn't have to do the hokey pokey dance while Mariko was here. :roll:

I had a really really nice time, and enjoyed talking about cats with you very much!
I'm so glad Neko stayed in the solarium, and I got to give her some scritches!!! Yay!
I was having such a good time and probably stayed a bit too long. Sorry I messed up your gardening plan. ohmygod_smile

I'm glad Neko is out of pink!

@Mariko - You didn't mess up the gardening plans. The sun hid behind a cloud and it looked colder out there. I'm a fair weather gardener. :lol:
