She's very bossy today.
The kids are home, there were huge fights in the high school yesterday, involving adults and possibly even a weapon, so the police is investigating and they are closed for the day. That makes me sad and angry.
The insulin came yesterday while I was away, hard to say if it was frozen or not, so I did a test: I filled a syringe with water and put it in the box, closed it and placed it back outside. I meant to leave it an hour as it's about the time my box was there, but I forgot and left it 3 hours. The water was not frozen :) it was 0ºF yesterday, probably lower at the end as it was nighttime.
 
Hi Cecile, Jesus, that is scary what when on in the high school yesterday, What the hell is wrong with these adults!
I would be so pissed off and angry !
I hope the police can find out what happened and at least inform the principal so you all can know what happened .:bighug::bighug::bighug:

I hope so too. There were 2 fights between groups of students during the school day, and adults came to "join in" when school ended. They seem to think it's gang related, I don't know. It's all really sad. They arrested people yesterday but released them already, at leas for now.

Hi Cecile, wow that’s awful. I’m glad your kids are ok.
I’m so glad I don’t have kids in school anymore. And that’s sad to feel that way.
Is anywhere safe? My one son lives in NYC and I think of him on the subway, on the streets walking etc. It’s very scary.

I hope they can get some control so the kids are safe in school.

Bella looks great today. Very nice cycle. She probably wants her nice quiet house back.

I had insulin freeze in a pen once, I bought it from somebody here and it arrived on a day even colder than today, minus 20 or something like that. But the packages from Chewy are well insulated.
 
I tested her at +9 and gave her a snack, we might be late tonight so I'm not sure if her shot will be 30 mn or even one hour late. I could do it at +11 too, just before we leave.
 
OK, I changed my mind really fast and gave her her shot, 1:30 hours late. I'll test her late, my husband is on call and won't be home until at least midnight, for once I'll be glad to be woken up :-)
