Marjorie and Janice, thanks for the neosporin tip. I did go to Walgreens and got some today, and will use some tonight.

Tessie has been acting pretty good today, and I guess her numbers are ok for the second day of Lantus, right? It's too early for the Lantus shed to be full, if I understand how this stuff works, right? I'm just relieved that her numbers aren't going sky high...yet.

Well, I just noticed Tessie Lou is sitting on her food placemat so I guess I'll take the hint and get her some chow!

Do Lou and I want to say Hello this is our first visit to your condo and welcome you to LL looks like Tessie Lou is moving the right way today cat_pet_icon :YMHUG:

Tessie Lou - love her name. Rhymes with Do Lou - ok slap me ohmygod_smile

Its my first visit to your condo also. Trying to keep up but failing the past few days.

Hoping Tessie Lou does really well on the Lantus. You'll get amazing help here in Lantus Land :)

Hi Lisa, glad you stopped by! Do Lou is adorable. I watched her video on your blog three times--that's so funny! She's pretty active for a sugar kitty. My Tessie Lou doesn't play much, but I'm hoping that will change as she gets to feeling better. See you around!
Sandy

hi, guys! she's looking good...

took binks awhile to see changes when we switched from vetsulin to lantus...

Hey Karrie and Maverick, I read your profile. Boy, you guys went through a real war--but look at you now! So many blues and greens! Can't wait to get my Tessie Lou there.
Yea, I know, it's a marathon. Glad to meet you!
Sandy and Tessie Lou

Hi Sandy, not bad numbers at all for the second day on lantus! Tessie is doing fine! I hope you will see Tessie start playing when she starts seeing better numbers and feeling good. Mr Tinkles learned how to play at 14 years old, he now plays like a kitten every day...new behavior since he got regulated on Lantus.

I do want to suggest that you get at least one test before bed each night in addition to the PMPS. We ask that everyone get at least one spot check in each cycle along with the preshot tests. Many cats go lower at night than during the day, that spot check will give you an indication of where she may be headed overnight. Nice job testing today! I know their ears can get bruised, the neosporin may help. You're doing great!

Hi Laurie, yes I plan to start some night checks tomorrow night. I put the neosporin on both ears this evening. Hope it helps some overnight.
That's so cool about Mr. Tinkles learning to play--it's never too late! Tessie loves to watch her little brother, T.J., play chase and fly around the house. And, he wants a playmate in the worst way, so since they're only a year apart, I have high hopes that he'll get his playmate in Tessie Lou someday.
