I just don't get it. We had a great day yesterday numberswise, then this high AMPS? We haven't had an AMPS over 400 in 15 days. Why now? I stuck with the .5 and will test at +3, hoping for a good number, but I am frustrated. And Sam looks like he feels a little icky, so will try to test for ketones, too. Not that there's really anything I can do about that if they do show.
 
Wonder if he dipped down overnight and this is a bounce? I think your plan to stick with the .5 and get some tests in today is great. Hope no ketones.
 
Interesting, Sue. Hadn't thought of that. I didn't give him fluids yesterday, but am about to do his sub-q's shortly. I really wish I could figure this cat out. I guess we all feel that way at times, huh?

Tested for ketones just now and it seemed like none, but could have been trace. Hard to tell if there was a hint of pink in that beige square or not.
 
Sam is unpredictable. A bit of a rebel, maybe. Does he get that from you, Kristen? He should have a pretty nice pmps- I can't imagine he'd rise much in 3 hours.

PMPS was 331. I shot .5 again.

As for his naughty streak with these numbers, he's kind of a mama's boy so you'd think he'd want to please me. Little bugger. I hope to get a +2 or +3 tonight to see what's going on.
